Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Bah, live chatting with Samsung to get my Chromebook fixed. Damn screen has gone haywire. Thankfully it's not my primary machine so I can send it in. Hope to god it's as seamless as when my Flyer was serviced.

They won't because it isn't FCC certified for it. However I read that having the 4.2.1 radios installed keeps it enabled. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to test it. Dread would starting on the 26th :p
 
I'm really having a moment here...

I really am. Its kind of surreal.

The Chief has been accepted as a volunteer at Bonnaroo! :D :D :D

So I do a little volunteer work, live in my conversion van for a couple of days, and get into the event for FREE. What's not to love?

I've a couple employees at work who have volunteered a few times in the past. They loved it!

98% of it, NO. Couldn't care less if I worked those shows. I typed in the top 5 acts that I want to see, and hopefully they can work my schedule around those shows :)

I DO love Bjork. One of my faves. Waiting for Ultravox to play the Roo... I'll be back!

Morning gang!! Had a nice time at my cousin's wedding yesterday. It was good to see all of my aunts and uncles and most of my cousins.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
 
I'm giving the internet date another try today. This one seems promising. Man am I'm getting tired of trying.

Back is hurting again. :( really don't want to go to the doctor, but I'm tired of dealing with it. Although trying one of those icy hot back patches and it's working pretty good. :o

Just did physio myself:
Muscle pull/strain? Alternate heat and ice. Advil to reduce swelling.
Disc? Try home-made traction - fold yourself over a high-backed couch. Or lay on the floor and grab something heavy while wifey pulls your legs. (Pulling your finger also helps :D)

Something I failed to mention in my review of the Nexus 4 is just how well GPS works. Locks within a matter of a few seconds...every time. It really is night and day between the two devices. No GPS mods or fixing permissions or wiping cache to get it going. No waiting a long time for the first lock to ensure future locks are quicker. Don't get me wrong...I really enjoyed my time with the GNex...but this phone is a serious upgrade in terms of the small/important details. In certain aspects, those details sometimes make or break one's perception of a device.

I've been running AOKP B5 since I got home the day I bought the device. My wife, however, is on stock 4.2.2. I've not had a single issue. My wife's phone, however, had a kernel panic toggling HDR mode in the camera app and the phone rebooted. My wife doesn't care much for customization, but she does appreciate a bug free experience. Will be unlocking and rooting her phone tonight. :D
