Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Quick question for those who've remained with their Gnex.
Has anyone changed out for a new battery? I'm wondering if it'll help me much. I'm the type who is constantly charging it, more because I'm always paranoid it'll die on me. :o
I've noticed even with ROM/kernel changes it seems to be getting worse and worse and wondering if a new battery would help.

Thank you yet again Chief :) What sort of battery life are you getting?

Battery life is really arbitrary, Razor. You may be a minimalist, while I have push notifications and widgets galore. I'm never really far from a power cord, though, so battery life isn't vital for me.

If it helps, my 2100 maH battery could likely last 10-12 hours on this ROM... even with everything I have going on. YMMV if course :)

EDIT: Here's one for the computer types:

I have to send my laptop back for replacement. I'm keeping the hard drive here (for security reasons). If the seller builds me a brand new, IDENTICAL laptop and I put the hard drive in it... will it work? Or will I have conflicts?

Thanks

It probably would make a difference. Lithium ion batteries degrade over time, losing 40ish percent of their capacity in a little over a year. If you went to a tank battery, you'd see incredible improvement.

So what phone do you plan on purchasing to replace your Galaxy Nexus? I was thinking about the S4, but at the same time vanilla Android has been good to me this past year and a half.

Moto X Phone if rumors are mostly true, Galaxy Note or next Nexus if they aren't true

Thanks, looking at getting the extended one.
Chief, is ~$35 a good price for one? I just did a quick search on Amazon.

Little wary with some of the commenters on there saying it comes with a Sprint logo!
Not that I really care.
Jhawk, some also do say the original back door can stretch around it.

Glad to hear Steven. You're feeling better? :)

I wouldn't think there would be a problem. But if the hard drive is corrupted then that's a different story.

Had to drop dad's car off for service this morning which means I actually have to drove my own car today. Wouldn't be bad except that I had to fill all 4 tires before I could leave for the gym. :o

CREDIT KARMA

Is a great credit monitoring app and free to use. It updates weekly and works off Trans Union. If you have great credit it probably wouldn't be useful to you? I use it since I am trying to rebuild mine. My credit took a nose dive when I went back to school. Last week when my account updated I went up 27 points! Slowly but surely I'm getting my good credit back!

Thanks Halon! I'm going to try this and see if I'm in ok shape or not. I know its better than it used to be but I am sure my young and dumb days are still reflected somewhat.
