Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Anyone else have any issues with their tpu case trying to peel up their screen protector? Put the invisible shield on last night, went to put the case on this morning and it immediately started to peel the bottom edge up

No. But that's because I don't have a screen protector on. I did have to do surgery to my tpu case last night though. The volume rocker kept pushing in and putting my phone on silent. Or it would stay pressed down and I couldn't lock my screen

The EXACT reason I cut mine... Used a razor blade and it came out nice

Been done since Thursday night. We actually had time to see The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last night without blowing off any holiday prep.

Not sure how we got ahead of the game this year, but it is a stress free holiday so far.

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not, but, if anyone has been holding off on buying Beautiful Widgets from the Market, it is now 50% off. I just got it for $1.39.
 
Not sure what to make out of this. Perhaps the stupidest ad, or smartest bait and switch.

Until I read the fine print. They are targeting Baby Blues!!!

Put together a 'de-stress' basket. Fuzzy slippers or socks, lotion, bubble bath, massage oil, her favorite kind of pajamas.

For anyone wanting to test something to possibly increase their batt life this was posted by franco (kernel dev for the GN):

About the battery I want you people to test this: Reboot your phone, then after it booted up open up Camera, then close it. I think we have the same bug as we had on the NS. Google Talk Video version opens the camera during boot and its sensor gets fired up and since the camera isn't closed the sensor just stays there open in the background wasting battery like there was no tomorrow. Opening and closing the Camera after booting up closes the sensor and then the GN enters in Sleep mode just fine (easy to check with Cpu Spy).
 
Noob question number 2:

does my SGN come with a file manager or an explorer. I searched online and there are a few apps, but when searching for them in the Market, nothing comes up. What am I doing wrong?

And which free and ad-free, file manager would be the best to use.

I love astro file manager in the market. Its free and very easy to use.
 
My son used to work at AT&T and said to give it a day or two, before you put the case on, after the install of the shield.

He wants to put a gadget guard on mine, and said I should give it a day so it can stick. He recommends gadget guard and invisishield. Claims the "plastic" ones don't work as well.

I think Santa is bringing me one for Christmas.

On an unrelated note, pretty happy with the Otterbox case. Buttons work good, volume, on/off. I didnt go for the holster, but I't been pretty nice case and right here in Fort Colins, Colorado, so supporting the locals. Sure, it's probably made by elf slaves somewhere, but so far, liking it.

And a military M4 Molle case turned sideways makes a pretty good carrying case on your belt, since it has like 5 inches of velcro on it.

I was buying for some close friends. Got the wife a luscious manicure/lotion set...and...wait for it...a facial spa treatment!
