Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Chief, I am thankful that you are in one piece! We need you, man!

Not going to venture in the line of fire between Halon and Han :p

And here's a race that I wish I could run: The Huntsville Krispy Kreme Challenge
FAQs & Race Rules

Very funny FAQs and Rules on disgorging during the race :D

Ha ha, religion talk doesn't scare me.

Hogwash? Have you studied how certain prophecies have been fulfilled hundreds of years after they were written?

If you've actually read it/studied it and still think that, great. But I think it's fair to reserve judgement until you've actually, you know, read it for yourself and not just listen to what others say.

Personally, and I've thought this for years without having much respect for the Bible at all, I think a lot of people discount it just because it doesn't conform to their standards, so don't want to be judged, etc. But if that was fair, I'd never read the U.S. Code, because half the laws in it offend me.

I haven't read much of it, but I think I'm going to. Then I'll make the call.

:p

Doesn't scare me either, but it terrifies some folks, enrages others and bores the patootie off the rest. I love a good religious debate, especially with the clergy, but this might not be the right thread for such heavy and sensitive issues. Tread lightly please. :)

Please do. It's a fascinating read in all it's forms (currently published in over 100 versions - and that's only those in English).

I see this quite often among those new to Bible studies - the only logical explanation for others not having their minds blown too is that they couldn't have possibly read and comprehended it all.

It's quite false but leads to a lot of door knocking.

Here's what I've seen more of - religious discussions on our forums ALWAYS ending up with someone getting butthurt, complaining to mods and then admin along with people getting their posting rights restricted while others quit us and then go somewhere else to discuss Android.

So unlike you, this whole discussion scares me because guess who's going to be left holding the bag here?

Let's just get right to the flame war, I'll start.

The Nexus sucks and the worst Android maker is Samsung.

If you don't agree, you haven't read enough.

See what I did there? ;)

Samsung is the worst Android maker. I like them as much as Apple.

And speaking of Nexus, I'm still waiting for the new update on my N7 :(

Wish I could have been one of those few owners of the Nexus One. That phone was a beauty; and being a Droid owner gave me so much envy. :o

I had one. It was a beauty for certain. It was in mint condition when I sold it to a very worthy AF staff member, so I know it's still in the family. :D

Long story short...they are the Apple of Android.

I think they have many unnecessary phones and tablets made, but other than that, they take advantage of Android's freedom.

I want to see Motorola, LG, and HTC take more of the market.

Actually LG was the phone that made me want a smartphone in the first place... Then I bought an iPhone. It was good, until it wasn't. Happy with my moto g, but I kind of think that a removable battery would be useful for someone like me. A very critical user at times. Running up to 5 active apps at a time. Writing essays on my phone :)

Saw Ralphie May last night. My face hurt from laughing, great show!

Me, Ralphie, his wife(she's the opener), my date.
