The edge seems a bit gimmicky to me. Something to go ooh and aah over, but with little utility. Sort of like the new curved screen TV's. If you have a small apartment and can only sit 4 feet away maybe, but when you get back beyond 6 feet, the picture viewing angle is severely limited and the benefits of less distortion are reversed.

I'm also bummed they don't offer a left-handed model. ;)

Whelp, 360 back in the box, going back to Best Buy. Looks nice on my wrist, but the thing is just too slow and stuttery, doesn't register swipes half the time, screen resolution is just terrible.
Let's hope gen 2 shows some improvement. Back to the Pebble.

Considering I'd have to drive 62 miles ... one way ... to find a Best Buy that *might* have them in stock, I think I'll pass for now.

Yeah, I went to the one in my neighborhood. They had them on display and I was able to try it on, it's what sold me. However, they didn't actually have any in stock.
Well, went to one in Crystal City, VA on my way to the farmers market and they had two black ones. I think the reviews coming from DL and MKBHD are finally owning up to a little disappointment from the watch given how much fervor and excitement there was for it.
To all those who love it, great! I'm still just content with my Pebble for how little time I wear a watch (and always have my phone). Looking forward to what comes next year for sure. :)

I wouldn't think Android wear would be ready. All the first Gen Devices are coming out, and nobody knows what to do with the devices. I don't think many people know what the device is meant for. Hell, i don't see a use for a SmartWatch in the market. My phone can do everything, so why spend an extra
$250 for something that my phone can already do?

Maybe by gen 2 or gen 3, there will be a market for smartwatches, but now. I'll pass.

Whelp, I've got almost all the components ordered for the new UHD entertainment system. Holding out for the 65" Samsung UHD 3DTV, trying to squeeze one last deal out of it all.

WHICH MEANS that if any of you are looking for a top-of-the-line 1080p 3DTV system, I have one for sale! Local pickup only, though. I guess I'd better get busy with a Craigslist ad, huh? Yeah, but I had to give my peeps here the right of first refusal ;)

4K Bluray was finally announced last week. Players and movies by holidays next year.

Side note: my sister watched Gravity 3D on mine last week and was amazed by it.
