Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

It's really not that big, and you get used to the size. It's feather light. Just know that you'll get 8 hours of nominal use out of it before it dies. If you play with it a lot, expect significantly less time... and that's WITH a dark watchface.

I ordered a Qi charging mat to charge the 360 while I'm sitting here at the laptop. That way it might last 12 hours like me.

You mean this one?

As far as I'm concerned, none of the wearables have any aesthetic value. They look like the plastic Swatches from years ago with a Dick Tracy flair.

Whe the 360 was first announced I said that it needs to look like a watch first. That still applies for me.

Motorola is there only company, that I know of, naming a phone the way it should be....second Moto X being released and they call it Moto X. Not X + 1 or X2 or whatever stupid combo anyone could think of. Just Moto X. I so hate when others add different numbers and whatnot.

I just hate it when members don't know which forum to put their post in cause it's the same model name!;):vroam:

I'm the opposite. I hate when they do it that way because you can't differentiate between the models. Then people have to do it themselves anyway by putting the year after it, or second gen or something like that. Another dumb trend that Apple started and other companies jumped on the bandwagon.

I like having one name for all devices. Moto X should be moto X. Moto g should be moto g. IPad should be iPad.

Though it does make things a little harder to distinguish between devices, it brands one device. Brand name is what matters to me. I like Motorola brand, so I buy Motorola products.

My next phone may just be moto X, which I may end up getting one on black Friday if I can. Assuming their site doesn't crash again.

Broke people shouldn't be hung about getting a new phone when the one they have already works just fine.

Android TV™ vs Android TV?

Saw this on sale in the supermarket lunchtime, and it made think of Google trying to defend their supposed Android "trademark", which is a common dictionary word, by forcing devs to rename their apps for Google Play, including the AndroidForums app.

However Google is bringing out a new product called Android TV. Previously they had Google TV, which was a flop. But the thing is, there's a lot of these Chinese "Android TV" boxes on sale via Amazon and Ebay. But the difference is, many premium DRM'd streaming services, like Google Movies, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc. often don't work with Chinese ones. They're approved devices only, e.g. Samsung, Chromecast, Asus, Nexus, etc.

In fact it even caught me out a couple of days ago..

OP meant the Google "Android TV", and I assumed they meant the Shenzhen variety.

Doctors office called me about my xrays and leaves me on a cliffhanger until next Friday. Thanks. I have that to worry about now.

If it were anything serious, they wouldn't be waiting. They're probably just checking out what expensive test they can piggyback on your insurance before they declare you healthy.
