Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Well, whoever or whatever TK is, supposedly he has a Nexus 6. He posted pics on instagram, no pics of the entire thing yet. So who knows? But he did say it is as big as the iPhone 6+.

It seems there is a very good chance of the Nexus 6 being verizon. I've been saying for a couple years they will get Nexus again.

Guess what's on Verizon?! Nexus 6!

2 months shy of 3 years since last on Verizon. Sadly most of the people from the GNex aren't here any more.

Wow. Time flies! I still remember the epic thread! :)

Uhd screen 5.96"
QHD (1440p aka "the new 2k"), not UHD (2160p aka 4k), yeah? ;)
It's a Nexus. Pure Android. It isn't messed with like Samsung, HTC, LG, etc., do to their phones. It is what Google made Android to be.

Not busting your chops but I can't resist just saying - everyone I know personally who says that, turns around, roots their Nexii, and changes it from what Google provided anyway. :)

Anyway, vive la difference, Android is all about choice, and I agree, every carrier ought offer the Nexus.

Including the prepaids, so there, I said it. :D

I meant QHD. Another case of my head thinking one thing and my hand typing something else. :)

But yeah, the GNex thread compared to the Nexus 6 thread....HUGE difference. I felt lonely in the 6 thread.

I preordered ten previous Nexus tablets and would like to get the 9 but I think I'll be waiting.

As for the tv box, if it streamed 4k I would be interested.

I'll stand up as example number one of someone that prefers vanilla Android. I have two N7's, stock, unrooted, and my GNex only got a custom rom at the end when it was no longer getting OTA's. My Moto X DE is still unrooted and stock. :D

But it doesn't have an S-pen or action memory like the Note 4 :(

Ftfy :p

:D

I can't knock the Nexus. At all. You will have a great experience with it. I'm in the middle of nowhere with NO signal at all. And I'll come home to my new Note 4 getting delivered! So enjoy your Nexus, I will be pre-ordering the Nexus TV tomorrow to replace our antiquated Google TV :)

I bought my mom the Note 3 last week. It's nice and everything but Samsung just rubs me the wrong way anymore. She likes it, doesn't need most of the functions, but she likes it.

Enjoy your new Note, Chief :)

enjoy the new toy man :D
I am still on the fence between the Note 4 and the nexus 6
I just updated my dads phone to the newest Lollipop build and I was playing around with and it is a thing of beauty smooth as silk and the little things added such as "flappy droid" and animations makes it beautiful IMO.

The new nexus player sounds interesting, but for only 8 gb you get with it, and it coming with a controller for app games just doesn't sound too good. One game may take up 3 GB, so I don't see the point.

Got my Note 4 today! :D

Charged up, just waiting to backup my 128GB card from Gina the Note 3 and slap it into Alicia the Note 4. Still in the box: I just got back from 8 days at the folks (NO SIGNAL AT ALL!) and have about 600 emails to sift. I can play with my new shiny later... I seem to have plenty of time waiting for a Knox-friendly bootstrap and root exploit!

:)

You aren't getting the Edge?

After seeing the hands on videos of the N6 yesterday I am as pumped for it as I was the GNex.

WOW I didnt know there was a group of people that likes this lol :D

Since the Google Music app has updated (with All Access), I'm totally in love again. All too often I've no idea what I'm in the mood to listen to (I like about all music), and now it suggests different radio stations for the time of day. Just, awesome. :D
