The battery actually part of the Black Exodus theme. I think he may have changed it when he updated it to run with AOKP 17. I'll let you know.
I took a look at the Black Exodus page on XDA, the dev's sig indicates that he's running AOKP 17 and 2.2 of his theme.Yes. Its a flashable zip
Yuck. Huge and ugly.Oh man, this is pretty ugly.

It's all about the screen. The phone is very efficient when the screen is off, I estimate that I could probably get 25-30 hours from my extended battery on standby or very very light usage. However, while playing a game on an emulator, I can burn through the whole battery in 2-4 hours. Something like that won't really be solved with getting a larger battery. It'll increase the overall numbers, sure, but it won't really address the root of the issue.Agreed. With the Samsung extended battery and the interactive setting on a custom kernel, I am easily getting a full day out of my phone with average usage. Two nights ago I forgot put it on the charger and I only lost 6% in 7 hours! The only time my battery life has been an issue is when I'm playing an MMO, flashing ROMs, or streaming Netflix.

No idea what I would do then! But let us know what you see and if you like it!
They're great! They're going to be small it seems. Sort of a surprise, but a good one. They have almost all their big girl teeth in and they're still 16 and 20 lbs at 18.5 weeks! They're getting their breadboxes taken out in the beginning of Feb so that should be interesting. haha.
One good story for them is from NYE. Boo, like her namesake from To Kill A Mockingbird, is afraid of a lot of things. Our neighbors set of fireworks, right across the street. And not the small kind! Well she was terrified and her daddy tried to take her outside to pee -- she hid under our deck for 3 hours! We had to crawl in the mud underneath it (its only 2.5-3 feet off the ground) to get her out.
Yep, tried face unlock once. I tried it in a very dimly lit room and it didn't work. Got rid of it quite fast
Ok, that's weird. I remember playing with the avoid poor connections option before (probably when I was on 4.0.1, GSM), but I can no longer find the option in settings either. I'm now on stock 4.0.2 (GSM) and maybe it was taken out for some reason...
Hey you're coming up on 3,000 posts pretty soon. Got anything special planned for it?
On the OG Droid, I had to set up a pattern lock to establish a connection with our company's Exchange server (a server-side requirement), but once I set up the account, I simply disabled the pattern lock screen and everything worked fine. I guess the server was content that I had a pattern set but never checked that it was actively being used.
Really, the Rezound only uses 2-3%? How is it possible for two phones to have such drastic differences?Yeah, 2-3% is normal for a Rezound. No doubt it'll be normal for the GNex as well after a fix -- the sooner the better!
But 62% is way over typical for the GNex -- usually around 25% from what I've seen. Is it set for 4G and struggling to maintain it? Cutting back to 3G/CDMA mode should save a lot in that case.

if i went from leankernel to
full phone wipe/format/clear everything you could clear in CW
installed AOKP 17
then flashed faux .9
am I ok? or do I need to flash the reset kernel and then faux .9?
i though going to aokp cleared my kernel back to stock.
also, i'm hearing great things about faux 10 with regards to battery life
also, if you guys use leankernel, there's a tweaks package by jake that made a world of difference in performance. the phone actually felt like it was overclocked for real.
related question...I tried using it with a wired headset made for phone calls, and it sounded very quiet. Then I tried it with the headset it came with, and it sounded very loud and clear. I then tried it with the iphone headset, loud and clear. What those headsets have in common is that they are more like for listening to music than talking on the phone. They go in both ears, and the mic isn't fixed and they don't clip on.
So I am wondering if anyone's run into this and might recommend a model of a mono headset with fixed mic that might work as well (read "as loud") as the stereo headsets?
Just starting with NFC, I like the ideas previously talked about in this forum of having the NFC trigger Tasker, eg for the car dock. If I can't find a way to have it automatically choose the stronger signal when in preferred networks, I may try it for this purpose as well.
well after an extended holiday break, I'm back! I missed everyone!
Anyone else using this? I had been using AirDroid, but EarlyMon is correct about it bring s-l-o-w, especially when trying to copy AVI files. So, AirDroid is very cool - but slow. If you want to wirelessly transfer files a bit quicker (usually much quicker), especially larger ones, use SwiFTP to put an FTP server on your phone.

Daughter wants a <cough, hack> iDontKnowWhy 4S for her 16th Birthday. Why? Because all the friends have them and they iChat or whatever. This after having to get her a Bold last year for the same reasons and BB Messenger. Of course, she's 16 almost, so do I stand a chance of convincing her to BE the trend-setter by going Android? Of course not.
Oh no, sorry to hear that! Do you have insurance on it?Dangit! $&#%@($+$&$@/@;#? Just walked outta the house to hop on the treadmill at our complex. Had slipped nexi into the back pocket of my shirt.
