It's bizarre how different phones behave differently. CNA plus Franco gives my phone the best JB battery life yet.
 
Yep, saw that one in the N7 forum. Pretty cool but it looks like it's a fairly permanent setup so you can't easily take it out to use at home.
Morning everyone! It's the wife's birthday today but I'll be working all night. We're celebrating tomorrow but I'll give her her gift this morning. :)
 
Morning Dread, I'm sure she will like it, it's jewelry after all. :)

So yesterday at 3pm my wife decided we should paint the living area of our house. Picked a green and a yellow. Got the back wall done last night, looks really good IMO. But gonna take probably painting every night this week to get it done, since we have to wait till the kids go to bed. :p
 
Good morning all.

Helped my dad pack up the moving truck and he should be on his way to Tampa within an hour or two. I am both excited and upset - its weird to have a family member move away like that, but its good for him. I've been away from home (albeit an hour or less) for 6ish years with school and moving out, but its a bit farther now. BUT at least I have a reason to visit Florida and take a small vacation here or there.

Found out my grandpa was in the hospital this weekend too because he was being stubborn, not taking his medicine and his blood sugar dropped to 30. He's much better now and seems to be getting back to his normal self, which is good. Hopefully he gets to go home in a day or two - he's definitely on edge being confined to that room needing to ring that bell to do anything. I'd be going crazy too.

This should be a nice week though - working from home on Friday and then I took next Monday off for my birthday. Hopefully nothing crazy happens this week - I could use a relaxing week or two.

Sorry to hear about your grandpa, Stigy, hope he stays well.

And don't worry about your dad - I'm sure he'll enjoy Florida. My dad actually moved down there a few years ago, he lives a little bit outside St. Petersburg, and I think he's much happier. I've visited him a few times, he has a great house that he bought on the cheap, and he goes to the beach all the time. Make sure to visit him often. :)

Wife and I (well we were just dating at the time) painted a lot of our apartment a few years ago. Thankfully we didn't have kids so we could paint any time. It's definitely a trying experience on relationships. Moving, traveling, painting are on our highest list to test eachothers' stress levels. :D
 
Morning all. Just about all packed up and ready to go. Only thing I dislike about the way we camp is that its a lot of work to set up and then take down and then reorganize and clean at home. The rain didn't help any this year. But it was relaxing for the most part.
Thankfully when my Dad and I come back after Labor Day it will be with my aunt's RV which is a driver. Its way easier to set up.

I work Monday nights so it's a bit of a bummer to get home so late. But, the smile on my wife's face made my morning! :D

Spent the weekend with my special lady friend :) We had a birthday party for her little brother, we had another party for one of our family friends where we filled the hot tub and pool with foam! and we ended the weekend at discovery bay with some boating and paddle boarding. Pretty sweet weekend!

This week is going to be a little nuts, but we are taking a trip to a place called point reyes north of San Francisco this weekend so we've got something to get get us through the week.

Once summer ends, I want it to jump straight into November - Some of my favorite video games come out (geek moment here) as well as the new slew of Nexi (Nexuse(s)?)
I love my Galaxy Nexus now, but I am always excited to see what quirky new thing Google has planned for us!

Some days the pace in this thread is like live chat. I think it has been slow lately as various folks have been taking vacations.

Anyone send off their kids to the first day of school today?
We have a large contingent of kids who go to Georgetown Day School (you don't want to know what the tuition is :eek:) who come in for lunch since they don't have a cafeteria. Not sure if they start back today or later on in the month.
