Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Trying to get the kids ready and in the bed, then some painting. My youngest doesn't feel good, poor little guy. Had the carpets cleaned today, this house has never looked better :) makes for a very happy wife.
 
I'm finally sitting down, my Trenta iced coffee next to me, looking around AF and thinking about doing some work for my friend.

How are you doing BB, recovered week from vaca yet? I had a @#$%#@$ at work. Hey, there this friend of mine kymberlin in the S3 watering hole that seems like someone you would like. I'll invite her over here to chat.

It's been pretty good. Shopping with my mom and daughter was a bit stressful but hopefully one day Ann will learn to tolerate it more.

Teehee! I knew you would. We've been supporting our local SB quite a bit lately. I am even pretty sure I'll be trying something new and putting in an application at the end of September. :D I need to not work in a stagnant office for a while.

All recovered! Just have to wash the trailer with Dad sometime in the next couple days so she can be put away for the winter. Sorry to hear your day was @#$%#@$. That is never fun. But at least it's the weekend now!
We love new people.....tell her we are very friendly (if a bit nutty!) :D
 
Hello to all...just getting caught up on AF for a bit...wanted to say hi...

So we decided to go deep sea fishing for my bachelor/guys party. I am planning it...and have at least 3 of us that will definitely go. If we only have 4 of us, we can take a small boat, and bring our own beer and food...if we have more than that...well a ship that will sell us beer and food. And have about another 70 people on board...oye that's a lot of people!!! But prices are roughly 200 ea for an entire day, including license and food and drinks....not bad considering we keep the fish we catch, and up to 20 fish each is a lot!

Easiest way? Have someone else do it :D
Seriously if they have the drivers installed already :)

Make sure you download Wugs toolkit, it will help with the driver install, unlock and root. Rom flashing is a breeze, just download to your phone boot into TWRP or CWM (I used CWM before) Wipe data, factory reset, clear cache then delvik and repeat then flash the rom from install zip

Congrats on the new toy.

Oh, make sure you flash the right rom for the device!! If not you get a brick. Tuna is GSM and Toro is verizon (CDMA)

Hey Jmar, so far everything works and works well, we shall see how this kernel works compared to the other. The only oddity, and maybe it is a setting I haven't found yet, the wifi and phone signal stay grey all the time. I do have data, Google services and all, and speeds are fine. Previously, they were grey if I had signal but not Google services, so they almost always were blue. Anyone have any thoughts?
Been super busy, had my 20 year old nephew and his buddy here for a week, they left early this morning to go back to Dallas. We had a blast, hiking, going to waterfalls and zip lining. They got caught in some bad weather going home, hail etc, but they made it back safely with about an hour on the side of the road waiting out the storm making it about a seventeen hour drive. Once he got home, he was sitting up with his parents telling them all about his visit with us when their house was hit by lightning. My sister in law smelled smoke so my brother went in their attack and saw they were on fire. My nephew ran into the attic with the fire extinguisher, crawled across beams and was able to get the fire out before the fireman got there. I am so proud of him! He and his dad's quick thinking and team work saved their house. The fire department still pulled down their living room ceiling to be safe and certain it was all out. The hail storm that delayed him probably saved their house and their well being as had he gotten home earlier, they would have all been asleep when the lightning hit. I am counting my blessings tonight, be sure and count yours!
 
Morning everyone!
Has anyone successfully tethered with CNA? I had problems with both the built in and wifi tether the other day and I want to get it working before we head out of town. Not sure if they have wifi where we're going.

Edit: ooooh, post 5555, creepy.
