Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

lol you only got like 2 people today though, you need to pick up the pace if you are trying for everyone :p

The end goal of the game is to get all the Guides and Mods, plus Phases (he's harder to catch though). The members are just a bonus. :D I currently require 60 more lives to win and I have 27 days left.

I'll join your cause, being mortal is pretty lame anyways hehe.

If you want another minion that is, I think gbiggie has it out for me anyhow

He keeps messaging me telling me my time is short, i dont know but i figure being immortal might help my odds ;)

Anyhow Night all, see you all in the morning :)

Is anyone aware of Facetime running on Windows? A guy at work asked me about it because his daughter wants to keep in touch with him using Facetime. He isn't a tech person. I told him I never heard of it happening but would look into it. I also told him to just use Skype. He agreed but his daughter is 8 and she is all about Facetime. I'm not finding anything yet that says it is possible. Skype will have to be the medium used but I just want to make sure.

This is a good question about the video chat...also something that I am looking into right now, since we are probably moving and since my kids are staying with their moms....

My original thought is to create a gmail account that I monitor...and give the login info to their moms...then allow them to log into Google Hangouts that way....
The rest of my family has been using Skype for years and just recently asked me to switch everyone over to GChat instead...and it worked flawlessly. In fact the biggest test for us was broadcasting the wedding ceremony over Google hangouts...and we had 8 people watch it live since they could not make it. It was also not device specific, we had several people watching from their iPads, one using an iphone 4s, one using an apple TV, and others on their PCs.

Morning everyone!!! TGIF!!
Today starts the "kids weekends" that will span every weekend until Christmas...except for 3. One of those weekends my other half and I get a romantic weekend getaway, one is thanksgiving, and the other we will be going to Austin to find a house....woo hoo. Busy!!!!
Hope everyone has a great Friday!!

Hey there ryan, i have heard good things about the Google Video chat, my friend uses it over Facebook video chat and such.

You might want to look into that for him as well.

also, "Romantic Getaway" sounds invigorating! The only thing i get to do these days with my significant other is drink her under the table ;)

Sorry to hear about that Pup. Hope today goes better, it is Friday :) For that matter, hope everyone has a good Friday!

i like google hangouts but alas, the rest of the family likes skype. I think in part, it is what you are use to. My niece has an iphone ( the only one in the family) so of course, she is all about Facetime...ugh!

Good morning all and TGIF!

Battling allergies today and its horrible. I would love to just lay in bed all day.

Here’s A Firsthand Account of Google’s LG Optimus G Nexus [Rumors]

“I can confirm the next nexus is LG Optimus based. The phone looks surprisingly like the Galaxy Nexus and does not have sharp corners like the LG Optimus we already know. It has a silver ring like the iPhone 3G around the outer edge of the screen which seemed to be similar to the Galaxy Nexus in size but was much better in brightness.

I couldn’t have said if it was larger in the few minutes that I had the phone. Also, it has Nexus written on the back like the Nexus 7 except there is a color element to it. The ‘X’ is in four colors. There was also the LG logo on the back.

Android 4.2 in its current state looked exactly like the 4.1.1 we love. There were no tabs on that build version for home-screens as you suggested from your other tipster. What I was amazed by is how fluid everything seemed to be from exiting apps, switching, etc. It seems like they’ve increased the number of transitions and their types. It still had the hodge-podge mess of multiple communication tools: Messenger, GTalk, Voice and SMS.”

I have to agree with the shower sentiment. I do love the outdoors and would be perfectly fine sleeping without a bed, but if I don't have a shower in the mornings, I'm no fun. I don't care if I'm waking up just to go outside and do manual labor in 100 degree heat, I'm taking a shower first and then I'm taking one afterwards too.
