Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Yep, just 3 more hours for us east coast folk. Busy day ahead, but I love Christmas. Listening to Christmas music all night :)
 
Happy Christmas eve everyone (except for those of you across the pond, such an impatient lot!) had a mini party with my wife's sister and her family tonight, a lot of fun, the kids got a few presents to open and I got one to open, victirinox chefs knife and santoku, and a thermos backpack bottle. Pretty pleased with my haul :D

Merry Christmas to my AF Friends. I seem to know more about your lives than those of some family and friends. ;) And Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa and Festus too! I really enjoy your camaraderie.

Huh, was wondering about Netflix last night and looks like it was down according to The Verge.
Apparently they run their streaming servers off of Amazon. And, yes, Amazon was streaming just fine. :rolleyes:
 
If you have flash installed you can view through the desktop site. I googled awhile ago about an AIV app and I know people were working on getting it to work. I haven't checked recently. As for content? It seems sufficient for me.
 
Finished dinner. Looks like all I made was a hit! :D
Pork turned out beautifully (and it was the first time I made pork loin!). Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, roasted acorn squash, roasted pineapple. Was nice. Got frustrated with the in-laws new stove and nearly freaked (okay, more beer). But all and all, very nice. Few more hours and we head to see Les Mis. :D
 
Sounds delish! Ours is almost ready to eat: duck, ham, sweet potato souffle, green beans and potatoes, dressing, pumpkin pie and cherry pie made from cherries right off the tree. Bon apetit!

Thinking of going to watch The Hobbit?

Since we are sharing meals...I had lasagna. That is our Xmas tradition. I'm not sure how that ever came to be?
