Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Morning everyone I see I have missed a bit been in the hospital with my mom she had the flu and it got complicated but we are home now and all is good I hope everyone's weekend goes great

Well settling in to watch my Vikings. Can't say I'm real thrilled that our Starting QB is out... Oh, and Charles Woodson is back. Sigh.

Halftime... Ouch.

I hope tomorrow's games turn out better then today almost all of my playoff brackets are gone or close to be gone if the trend continues tomorrow

Ugh, not looking forward to the games today.
BOTH Baltimore and Washington are playing. We're going to get SLAMMED with delivery and takeout. :banghead:

Morning all! So washing machine decided to quit working last night. It's either the drain pipe is clogged or the drain pump is dead. I spent most of the night manually draining the tub so the load of laundry in there could finish. Fun. To top it off I burned dinner (which never happens) and all in all a great night. :p

Sounds like a blast Anti! lol

Morning folks!

I spent most of my Saturday up on my roof and in my attic. Decided the satellite bill wasn't worth it anymore and we fullfilled our 2 year agreement with DirecTV so I installed an antenna to pick up free over the air stations, ran new quad-shield coax to the two rooms with a TV to reduce interference and signal loss, and put an extension pole up to get the antenna even higher on the roof. Long story short, I now get all major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW) free :) Going to supplement with alternating Netflix and Hulu memberships along with our existing Amazon Prime and high speed internet. Saving us around $90/month :D

I've seen Roku, but not sure exactly what it does other than allow you to stream stuff through Netflix, Hulu, ETC. Our TV has all of those built in already, but I'll look into it more though, thanks!

BTW Dread...do you play Legend of the Cryptids??

They have a ton of channels. Pretty obscure and very specific. Some have commercials and some cost money but for the most part they're all free. There's some news from them as well about adding more content:
Roku celebrates 700 channel milestone with new partners: Coby, Harmon Kardon and others now Roku Ready
It's a great little device, we love ours for Netflix and Amazon. I REALLY wish they'd add support for YouTube though. That'd really make it perfect. Fortunately our Blu-ray has YT support (albeit, super slow). :)

Oh, never heard of the game. Really not a gamer at all either.

Oh, I see. I knew all along it did the services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. Didn't know it had other stuff.

About the game, I saw a guy with a username of NattyDread, that's why I was curious, haha.

I'm not so sure we will see it on phones. All of the rumors I've heard is that they are going to stick to tablets. Tegra 3 really didn't make it into that many phones to begin with, only one I know of is the international One X. It would be nice to see some options for processors in phones though, since everything coming with a snapdragon with a couple exynos thrown in for show.
