Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Wondering if anyone else has noticed that certain programs that can speak things to you ( in my case, MyTracks) sound like a drunken slurred person? Other things, eg Navigation, sound normal.
 
Morning all - crappy morning. Hoping the day gets a bit better. Nothing serious, just a ton of stuff going on.

Had OSX running on my Netbook until I tried to install some extra Kexts and now it Kernel Panics with the SleepEnabler. Need to see if I can remove it - if not gonna reinstall it again. So close yet so far.

Wow, thats insane. But the odds are so poor. And with the jackpot skyrocketing like that, there will probably be 50 people who win at the same time ;)
 
I am in a pool at work with 150 people at $3 each. I have a feeling it may go up before tonight's drawing.

By the time the IRS and Taxachusetts was done with me, I might have enough for a coffee. JK, I'd take 10% of that amount knowing my kids & grandkids would be all set for college when the time comes.

Glad to see Heejun go. If anyone remembers, he was a total a$$ in Hollywood week and trash talked everyone else, especially the cowboy. Arrogant and due to be taken down a peg.

Nicki = silicone. I think they had a tough time shooting around her attire. ;)
 
Goodness it's slow today. Its everyone busy out buying lottery tickets? You can't buy them in Utah so I'm watching the lottery madness from the sidelines.

I was ALL ready to make my first major production using my Nexus: a time-lapse video of the sun, Jupiter and Venus setting. Things looked all go right up until it was time to attach Ginny to the tripod and start shooting.

And the clouds rolled in!

Ah well, photographers and directors have been at the mercy of nature since cameras were first pointed at the sky. Better luck next time, I guess...

I just got home from the convenience store. Thirty people in line for tickets, WTF. I bought one on Wednesday, that's enough for me.
 
Evening all! We have company in from Jersey so we went down to Myrtle Beach and out to a Brazilian Steakhouse. I am stuffed, ok, make that overstuffed. Good thing I went 15 miles on my bike this morning ;)
 
So jealous of what some of you eat sometimes. Not that I didn't thoroughly enjoy, for example, the meat loaf my wife made the other night!

Anyway, how's everybody doin' on SuperLotto Friday!?

I have to admit that Brazilian Steakhouse (called Churrascaria in Brazil) is one of my guilty pleasures. It was one of my favorite thing about flying down there.

I would absolutely waddle out of the place stuffed to the gills. Good thing you went on the 15 mile ride.

Speaking about exercise, good luck on the 5K tomorrow Antimony!

I've never been to one in Brazil but we have a delicious one by me and I can be rolled out when we are done.
