Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Morning. Off to class, it's final day. Not too worried though, the professor admitted at the beginning its more of a survey class, he's just looking to see we participated. Pretty sure everyone is getting an A.

Good luck on the final Antimony and happy Good Friday for all of you who get to enjoy the weekend.

Not to complain, but this is day 2 of my 15 day work "week." In Minneapolis now for semi annual training and check ride followed by 10 days of flying back and forth to Tokyo followed by 2 days of meetings in Atlanta.

My goal is for you guys not to see me on the news. :)

You're in Good hands ;) hope your goal is exceeded!

Don't know the exact days you'll be here, but the forecast over the next 4-5 days is friggen gorgeous! Low 70's for the highs, upper 40's for the lows at night. Cool front (our real spring weather) just moved in :) Cali weather :p

I'll just be passing through Atlanta on Monday, then back later the following week for my meeting. Hopefully the beautiful weather will hold up.

At least my meeting will be real work which reminds me BabyBlues, how was your dog and pony show? No gorilla grams?

It was long and boring. I had to also play receptionist so that there was a body at the desk. (Ours was fired a long time ago and never replaced). I was very disappointed that there was no gorilla gram. :(

Was thinking about that yesterday. Glad we finally have our real spring weather! Central to Northern MS, AL, and GA have beautiful spring and fall weather!

Was definitely an enjoyable lunchtime walk with the cooler weather. By the way, I bought the endomondo pro app, now that my C25K is over, it is pretty cool for tracking walking and running. A few of the cool things it does: It breaks your session up by miles, AND by songs, so you can see which songs you had the best pace for, and which had the worst. If this holds up, I can make a playlist which will help me push myself faster. Also you can have supporters sign up for an account, and send you voice and text messages while you are running, and the app will play or dictate them for you when you recieve them. I can see this being an awesome features for competitive runs, having family and friends encouraging you.

Speaking of movies...

We watched Hugo in 3D the other night and it is utterly magical! If you have ANY way of watching it in 3D, DO IT.

Critics say that there are TWO movies that absolutely must be seen in 3D: Avatar and Hugo. Avatar's not out in 3D yet; but Martin Sorcese did a phenomenal job on this one. Can you watch Hugo in Blu-Ray or standard DVD? Of course you can, and it's a fantastic film in and of itself. But the 3D imagery is such an integral part of the story that you'll miss the finer points of it. He didn't go for 3D "in your face" gimmicks, but rather diligently applied the technology to advance the story.

Anyway, I highly recommend it for people of all ages!

I think the Panasonic Exclusive for Avatar ended in February?
