Destination Gloucester. Although Friday I am going to Busch Gardens, I think. I'm told my cousin has some sort of performance there and she asked if I'd be there.
So I wish I was going to be in DC or Richmond but unfortunately I am not. If I'm ever in either area I'll be sure to tell you though. I really enjoy meeting my online friends in RL.

Well, came in to work this morning and they told me to turn around and go home and come back in tonight. So for the next few days I'll be on 12 hour night shift 
Anyway, hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. I had a blast! My team faced elimination Friday and was down 3-0 in the 7th and came back and won it in the 10th over #2 LSU (twice they beat them in 3 days) so we went to the game Saturday actually expecting to see a loss because they were playing Kentucky (we had beaten Kentucky 3 straight to end the regular season then they beat us on Thursday in the tournament) but we won that one. So we went back on Sunday afternoon to watch them win the SEC Championship in a 3-0 shutout.
The pitching staff has been absolutely dominant all year but even more so in this tournament. To play 6 straight days and on that 6th day throw a shutout in the championship game is simply amazing.

Yeah, we're finally back where we belong in the baseball world I think. First SEC championship in 7 years but our 7th overall. We're traditionally a powerhouse but we've been down the last 7 or so years.
I don't necessarily follow college baseball, but I pay attention to where folks are drafted from.

Keep an eye out for Chris Stratton in the draft this year. He's a junior from our school and he's projected top 15 pick overall.
Edit: he's a pitcher with an 11-1 record, 2.21 ERA, and 123 strikeouts.

Well bumped my jog to 4 miles tonight, did it in 47 minutes. I'm beat, but feels good to finish that first new milestone.
Congrats on MSST SEC championship svt! I know it feels good when your team wins, especially when they come from behind to do it. I was spoiled there for a couple years with football and basketball with my Gators.

"was spoiled"??? WAS??? Sheesh...your Gators are the number 1 overall seed in the NCAA baseball tournament, lol.
And thanks, it does feel pretty good. I know most people don't follow college baseball and don't put much emphasis on it...they mainly concentrate on football and then to a much lesser extent basketball, then comes baseball. But to be honest, I'd rather have our baseball team successful than our others if I had to pick. It's just good to be back where we belong in baseball. Fighting for SEC championships and trips to the college world series.
