Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

And one right back at ya.

We've been pretty chatty these past few days in the Watering Hole. Were closing on on 20k :P

Man, this week has sucked at work, thought this mornings meeting would at least finally give me a go ahead on the ONLY solution we have, and I could start working on that. Instead it was shot down, and we were told to go look at other solutions, and when we explained we HAD looked at them, presented evidence they were no good, was told well, go look at them again.

I see:rolleyes:

Just realized that I finally got past the 1000 thanks mark. I have also given out exactly 3200 thanks. Sweet!
Congrats on the 1k thanks jmar

Don't you hate when people won't accept the right answer because it isn't the one they want to hear.

Ok so when you plan a vendor faire wouldn't it be prudent to make sure that the vendors would have easy access to the venue and be able to store their trailers fairly easily? Is it just me?

So my wife is on weight watchers, and I decided to join her for moral support. I've never been this hungry in my life.

Fruit and veggies. Use a couple points for snap peas or something similar - they help. Or a spoonful of peanut butter with fruit. I did weight watchers. Works great. But the first 2 weeks were horrible for carb cravings

I could never do the diet stuff my wife does. I like eating a plateful of steaks fresh off the grill with a side of shrimp and no vegetables. Seeing the rabbit food she eats makes me hungrier.

Hey, hey!
My new SSD and Ram just came in for my *cough* Macbook Pro *cough* I need to run out and grab a USB stick (don't want the ones I got formatted) before the transplant. I have to install the recovery partition onto the usb stick since its a new drive. Will likely need to keep this stick for recovery only.

The HDD in the MBP right now is rated at 5400 RPM (SATA 3, I think), so I am sure SATA 3.0 at 6gbps is going to be insane.

I am vehemently opposed to dieting (for me...anyone else who wants to do it, rock on with your bad self). My body rejects the notion that ice cream does not qualify as dinner. Actually, I like healthy foods, and I like not-so-healthy foods. I know myself well enough to know that if I restrict myself too much, that's just not going to end well for me in the long run.

I'm envious, but with the new prices for SSD I'm thinking about making the plunge for my MBP too. I checked out the new MBPs and for the price I'd rather just update mine.

Missed this earlier. First complaint about it not having a rear facing companion. He got an augmented reality game for his birthday so he has to play using my OG Droid (once I set it up for him tonight).

Well now I feel bad. Evan can have your D2 back. Seriously.

Are you kidding. He's going to play this with my OG for ten minutes and go back to his N7. And if he really does like to play that game more, then he can use my GNex as I have my own N7 to geek out on. Trust me, he won't miss the D2 at all.

Just picked up yet another thumb drive. 8gig stick 15 bucks plus tax its a lexar. I am seriously considering just pulling the optical drive out and stuffing a second hard drive in.

I have pretty much got used to eating less. My nemesis is the amount of time I get home until dinner is ready. I snack HARD cause I am starving and prepping/cooking.

Yeah, I'm eating a lot of clementines and bananas. I can't believe I wasted 7 points today on a big bowl of Fruit Loops with a cup of almond milk!!!!!!

The only thing I don't like is that you can't really eat out. I had 12 points left yesterday and I blew it on a Big Mac with NO SAUCE!!! And I was still starving afterwards.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend though. I'm going to blow my 49 weekly points + most of my daily 30 on one huge pig-out meal.

I wonder if this thread has the most Green and Orange in it - this is insane, its all I see.

Been much better with drinking mostly water, but craving a soda today so Ginger Ale (only soda I drink) was delicious.

Are you trying to make Stigy's app explode.:D

I limit myself to Ginger Ale, Root Beer (the real stuff), and Birch Beer as far as sodas go.
