Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I am almost to the point thinking, "If I break it, oh well" when it comes to nexus hacking.

Speaking of the N7, I am thinking about picking up two, but I am waiting for the 16gig model. I may get the 8gig for my mom :)
 
Did I read somewhere that you can mount a USB flash stick on the N7?

Holy cow, a LOT goes into unlocking the one x bootloader. Looks like fun :evil:

Looks like there needs to be some windows 7 + HTC driver trickery that needs done (think MTP drivers for the gnex).

I hope to be able to go out and get the device today. I am getting really antsy :p I was going to start hacking as soon as I got home, but I think I will wait a couple days while I check the device out to make sure its going to hold a signal (glares at the nexus) and works. This will allow me to gather the tools and info before digging in.
 
Anyone know if bestbuy will honor AT&Ts price?
Bestbuy: 630 bucks
AT&T: 450 bucks.

Don't look like bestbuy is as its name suggest?

I am pretty much hosed on a car today and bestbuy is fairly close

If so, know that I still do intend to keep the nexus as my trusty sidekick until the contract is up (at least).

Would love to go swimming. Thing I miss most from our trip to Mexico.

ROMing the N7 now. Looks like a lot are still pretty beta and buggy, but I got nothing else to do this afternoon so might as well.

Like his vids a lot. Kellen is great too. Some of the new staff at Engadget are terrible with their reviews and over lack of enthusiasm.
 
It disgusts me how pricey the housing market is in DC. :(
We'd love to save up enough and find a place, but to be in the right neighborhood and not get a "fixer upper" is next to impossible.

That type of house by me would easily start around 700-800k.

Who wants to buy Baby a new scrapbook toy??!! :D
Its a die cut machine that is so much more fun than the other one that my Mom and I share. But I already blew my budget so now I'm trying to convince Mom it would be a good Christmas gift. :)
