Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Panoramic stitch from Crater Lake, OR. Think it turned out rather nice.

Can't go wrong with Electro Harmonix! Love those pedals. I am currently redoing my rig. I was doing the standard - Mesa Stack with pedals etc but I ended up selling it all because I don't play live as much as I work in the studio. I decided I want to get a high quality modeling set up with a decent speaker cab to play with people. It would just be so convenient to be able to plug straight to computer and have that same unit be my live rig.

I am also looking for a nice guitar with midi pick up built in like the Ibanez RG1520gk <- rarrreeeeeee. I would also be nice to be able to play synths through my guitar since my technique on guitar outshines my piano technique.

Currently I am rocking for a guitar: Schecter USA made 7 string and an Ibanez RG520QM from the 90's MIJ. How about you?

Guitars I have: A jackson pro kelly (reverse headstock) don't get used. I don't like the floyd rose (too much to screw with when I just want to play). Its also very tinny. Every so often, I will pull out out just to screw with and make squealies ala Dimebag Darrel. I think I like pinch harmonics better :)
A cheap dean, no longer gets used. Forgot what the type was, but its a very cheap version that Dimebag Darrel used.
A silvertone acoustic, and the one that gets the most abuse is the (ESP) LTE ex-360 with EMG active pickups. I was going to buy the Gibson Explorer but could not justify the price at the time as I was (and still not) playing very much.

Amp, I use a Epiphone Valve Jr half stack. Only 5 watt tube amp, kind of boxy but I don't think I could go back to a solid state rectifier amp. Perhaps, but for damn sure not one of those modeling amps.

Effects are, EHX metal muff, holy grail reverb (may get its bigger brother) and the small clone chorus. I also got a crybaby classic wah-wah pedel that I don't use much, mostly due to the bypass issue, as in, even off, it sounds funny.

Oh, and by modeling amp, I mean those digital ones where you can get the amp to sound like a marshal or crate or what not at the flip of the switch. Im not huge on digital effects for this, but thats me :)

I was up, but was driving to work ;)

Morning all. My attendance here is gonna stay light for the next few weeks, getting hammered at work, and my class starts back up Friday. Fun.

Happy Tuesday everyone! :)

Morning Anti. I too also like getting hammered at work. Wait what?;)
Realized why my cabbie didn't know where to go. He was a VA cab, not DC (they're all different companies). When I got home he asked me how to get downtown cause he was going to VA. I just told him to follow this street all the way south and you'll figure it out.

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday.

Bowling league tonight - we are in first place by one point with three weeks left to go. Coming down to the wire, but first place would be nice to win some money for coming in first place. Would let me buy the new rear shocks I want for my car. :D

Here is my random morning Instagram picture - its absolutely gorgeous out today. Could definitely get used to this weather.

Nice shot Stigy! Weather could be a little nicer here. Boss just got back from a trip to London (saw some games, wife is from there) and I was jealous at their cool weather. :(

Cool for early August here, but very humid due to tropical moisture. More rain on tap for us today, my grass is green again! :)

Morning all, nice picture Stigy. :) It's gorgeous here too, though in all honesty my ideal weather would be 70 and drizzling, haha.

Hmmm, perhaps I'll check out this CNA ROM. Assume it's in the Root forum, haven't heard of it?
Maybe I'll even try to ROM the N7 again today. :o

Alright, not finding that ROM here or XDA. Link?

Well, back at work folks. Almost 2 full weeks away from work. Although we were extremely busy those two weeks, it still felt tremendous to not be here. Already sorted through the 100+ e-mails I had and now back to my daily duties.

Anti, it was quite the shock to my system coming from that nice west coast weather to this overwhelming humidity. It is nice to see my grass green again though.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Welcome back svt, glad you had a nice vacation.:)

I know, I'm all over the ROM map.

First I swore by Jelly Belly. Too stock for me.
Then I swore by XenonHD. Great ROM, but not enough features.

Now it's CNA. Holy smoke-a-reenies! You want options? It beats AOKP, I think! Fast, smooth and more customizations than I think I'll ever use.

Awesome. New version promised TODAY.
