I have not seen 4G once and I am surrounded. And VZW lights up Pittsfield, MA. c'mon, stretch more than 3 miles out of Worcester and I would be golden.:mad:

Sounds familiar. A lot of times I would have good signal strength, that is, until I go to do something on the device, then it would slow to a crawl.

Yes, both Apple and Samsung invented or pioneered cool stuff. Put together, stuff is cooler, its called synergy. Get along and stop the patent wars.

Yuck, the flu!

Well today is just turning out to be an exception in all sense of the word. There is a thunderstorm that has been camped out on top of us for 45 minutes now, my backyard is a small pond. :) no weather deflector today.

Asking the Apple lawyers if they were on crack? Classic. Samsung proving that Apple stole technology from Mitsubishi and then claimed patent infringement? Even more classic.

It's about time the Fruit went on the defensive...
 
Hi guys, not sure if i'm in the right forum. I just bought a google n7 and are having a couple problems.
1) Whenever I try to use an app with a barcode scanner, I get the following error message:
Barcode Scanner
SOrry, the Android camera encoutered a problem. You may need to restart the device.

I've restarted, force stopped the camera, reinstalled the app I was using but to no avail.
Has anyone encountered this before?

Perhaps you're using a bad app. Which one are you trying, exactly?

I use ScanLife and have never had issues like what you describe.

Hey there and welcome!

So when you are in this thread you are never in the wrong thread!:D

Since I, too, have an N7 I may be able to help.

What I think you need to install is a camera apk. The N7 doesn't have a dedicated camera app. Download this from the market, then try your barcode scanner app.
