Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Grab a handful of fresh mint and boil in some water. Let cool then add to ice tray along with fresh mint leaf (keeping the green Android theme here). Freeze then use with a Baileys or a Tequila. Heaven in a shot glass...

No shots for me. An occasional mixed drink, but I don't get along with hard liquor straight up.

Morning all!

Haha, I think you're a little late jmar! This news came out days ago. Are you just hearing about it now?

Afternoon y'all.

Just put the baby down for a nap, so a little me time, then chores, then baby for the rest of the day. Hope he naps well.

@Razor: Naw, man...I heard about it as soon as the news hit. It was just that baseball crept into the hole so I saw my opportunity to vent. Still peeved.

While working from 4a-1230p has its benefits, I get tired in the afternoons. I really want to nap but I want to start the week off right with my duties. But boy do I want to nap.

4a???!!!!!!! Why?????

My Starbucks opens at 430a on weekdays, so a 4a start time. That isn't an everyday shift for me, but always Mondays. My Sunday opening shift starts at 5a. Can't wait to get my own store son I can get my Sundays back to being about family and rest.

Er, because he's mad? :D

That I am, you witnessed that first hand yesterday in the GS3 WH! Boy is it ever so busy in there! Speaking of which, I will be right back!

Wowzers!! You really should keep that little bit of info to your self when someone says they may want to work for the company. :p:D

Hi folks!

Looks like the week is off to a bumpy start for some folks in here. Well:

JBSourcery 2 is due within a week or so. I have no idea what they could possibly include in it that isn't already there... but it's apparently coming soon :D

I wish I was a tech lawyer. I wonder if I could represent BOTH sides in patent lawsuits - defense in one suit and plaintiff in the other - and really rake it in!

They seem to be the only ones making any money out of this drama...

I have those hours to keep my son out of child care. My wife works fulltime as well. Since she likes sleep and could give a rats buns, I take early work and her late fare.

Yeah, I have my theories, but it's too political to get into here. Basically it comes down to society accepting this behavior, and in ways encouraging it. It's sad, but men aren't allowed to be MEN.

What's your definition of a "real" man then? Or in your words, a MAN

What's your definition of a "real" man then? Or in your words, a MAN

Well, for me, being someone who's father abandoned myself and the rest of my family, a "real" man, or a MAN, is someone who puts his family first. I won't try to correct my shortcomings in my son or live vicariously through him. I will and try to overcome the emptiness I feel from my father by being the best daddy in the world to him. Guys could snuggle teddy bears or trot around in negligee's for all I care, so long as they put their children and family first, they are a "man."

Even though I already know these things about you and expect nothing less, you bring joy and pause with these words. My Dad left us, too. And as much as I will always love my Mom, she wasn't really around much either, to put things simply.

Pup, I strive each day to make my son's life simple and kind, filled with love and attention. For these things I am proud. And it fills that empty feeling each time I hold him in my arms, read him a book or tell him how much I really love him.

And without my wife, none of this would have been possible.

What makes a man is the honor with which one holds in his heart and gives unto the world. In our case, family.

A man is someone who left a relationship under bad terms and flew 1300 miles back home to get the call you'll be a father and turned right back around to make things work. Swallows their pride and does what is right for him and his family. A real man doesn't just give up. A REAL man does what it takes to make his family number one even if that means he will always be number 2.

When I pick Evan up at day care and he runs full speed and leaps into my arms, I know I'm doing it right. It ain't a parenting magazine or the right guidance, it's knowing that you love them unconditionally. Thanks jmar.
