Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I'm on phone/electronics hold until I get a job. Which might be longer than originally planned because today I found out that through Unemployment I may be able to take classes at the community college for little to no money on my part. My friend swears she'd hire me to do her website admin if I got the degree or certificate. So I figure if the state will pay for part of it I can at least try.

Hey everyone, Sorry I missed the 20k mark, congrats BB! I have enjoyed 20k with yall, here's to 20k more! :beerglass:

I am so crazy busy at work, I can spend hardly any time here. I miss spending time with yall anyways, and it's just worse when I miss stuff like this. :(

Oh well. On the bright side, we got approved for a home refinance today, and it's bringing my mortgage payment down 25%!! To have my biggest expense dropped that much is a huge relief. :)

So I was talking to a friend on Gchat, and we decide to video chat. I remembered that Google had integrated G+ and Hangouts, but to my dismay, I found out that you had actually had to sign up for G+ just to use the Hangout feature. Not only that, but the service sucked! Everything was laggy, there was literally a 10 or 15 second delay between when we finished typing and when the other would see it. We'd type, then sit there and stare at each other blankly until the chat popped up.

Google, we get it. You really really want everyone to use G+. But if you're going to shove this crap down our throats at least make it work right!! FFS.

So far so good. Running Franco kernel w/on demand governor. Battery life isn't the greatest but still have some tweaking to do. Will get some screenshots in the morning after work.

Sorry, had busier than expected day, had a wake to go to for a former boss and my son's grandfather (looooooooooooooong story). Will get up ASAP, will add that I have yet to find anything not working as should be. Quite a change from my ex Photon which Face Unlock among numerous features either crashed at startup or force closed.

Morning all. Probably the only chance I will get to check in, I'm on my way into work. (my day to ride, so not driving ;)) thanks for the RSRSS!

Morning Anti! Have you watched any vids for the Note 2 or G Camera?
Camera looks a bit gimmicky, but I'm sure it'll appeal to some folks. Glad they put a 3G/4G radio in it, but in no way would I want more than a couple hundred Meg per month.
The Note really does look amazing. Unless the next Nexus can outdo it later this year, it might be my next...

Good Morning all and congrats to BB, you definitely earned it. So I am running sourcery 2.1, flashed Franco's kernel and the new radios. Here is my assessment so far: When dirty flashed 2.1 update with stock kernel, no issues. flashed Franco kernel, began to get some lagginess, but have left it now for several days to see if it will settle down. Flashed new radios last night; can't really tell much yet. Signal strength seems the same and hand off between wifi and 3g/4g, hmm , unsure if any difference here. I just flashed the radios last night so i will report back later today after i see what today shows. Good Morning All!

Good morning everyone - did some work on the car last night. New steering wheel is amazingly comfortable although I may have put it on one or two notches to the right as it needs to be a bit left to drive straight, but ill fix that one day. Took about 10 minutes total for the swap, not bad at all.

Morning all. :)
If you guys only read two links from the batch, make it these two! By far the most interesting IMO. I'd love to get some discussion going and hear what you all think about these - the Xperia T looks pretty awesome (and is Playstation Certified!), and the thought of a Moto phone with that insane Intel chip is.. mouthwatering. Opinions? :)

Yup! Haha, I guess I should have added an addendum to my thought - the Xperia T as a Nexus, and a Moto Nexus with the Intel Clover Trail chip. Enough to make you drool thinking of the holidays.
