Ended up doing a full wipe and reset to sourcery 2.1. I was getting intermittent lagginess, freezes and the screen was turning off during a call and not coming back on when you moved your face away. So far so good. Don't know if it was the dirty room update or Franco kernel. I stayed with the built in kernel for now to see how it goes.

Traffic across those bridges on Labor Day weekend (or literally any Friday in the summer) is EPIC! We would never go to the cape on the weekends in the summer.
Also, just saw an alert that some beaches are closed there because of a shark siting. Eesh. Just reminds me of Jaws. ;)
 
morning all...had a cigar last night under the blue moon...no shots came out well, so thanks for sharing pup....

Wedding stuff this weekend.....also got a hit on my resume this week, interview set up for next Friday. Office position, with field work, for a nationwide insurance company. Best guess...not exactly what I was looking for but might be enough income to keep us here in Santa Barbara...if not, we are leaning more towards a move to Austin....frightening decisions coming soon.

Shark update: beaches here in SB, plus the harbor are being closed on and off for 2 months as there appears to be several great whites roaming in and around....

BTW, I am still running Jelly Belly, pretty stock but buttery!!! And with the Franco app, running lean kernel, and the notification toggles app from Play...all the customizations I use everyday anyways!!! Just saying....Jelly Belly 7.0, LK 4.2exp 230!!!!

Just saw the full story about the sharks on Cape Cod. Wild. Literally is like a scene out of Jaws (well, aside from the eating people part ;)). They talked about San Diego closing beaches as well.

Right now neither of the phones on my plan are being upgraded through Verizon, I don't wanna lose unlimited. I may find / buy a phone for Ann because hers is just not great but an outright renewal with Verizon right now is not cool. Plus since DSB is now on AT&T (thinking positive future here) that may be an option at some point as well.

Mornin' y'all. Just hangin' with my little man. He is intent on carrying my briefcase all around the house. When I asked him if he was going to work today, he replied in his little voice, "Yesh."

Children are so imaginative. And my little man makes me so proud every day. His personal development is a testament to our parenting coupled with the power of the developing brain.

We are going to Happy Hollow today, his favorite little kiddie theme park/zoo.

Staples has a Nexus 7. I'm sitting at Barnes & Nobel reading a book while deciding if I should go buy it.
 
Too early for football. It's 95 out today. :(

Edit: Just looked at the rankings (presumably pre-season). FL was still in the top 25, but yeah, not very great. Usual suspects at the top.

No passing offense whatsoever. I will be happy with a top 25 finish at this point. And a win against GA. ;)
