Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Hear ya. We eventually cancelled our DVD subscription since we just streamed everything. The selection is always evolving and we can usually find something to watch.

Morning all...just checking in and getting caught up again....

Looks like we are leaning towards actually moving to Austin...kind of an odd and rather scary thought. Only thing holding us back now is kids...since they will be staying here, and our custody will change so dramatically.

Decision time is next week.

On another note...all of our wedding plans are falling into place. Looks like we only have the rest of the music to figure out...but almost everything else is done. Woo Hoo!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great-short week!!
Good luck Ryan. I've heard nothing but great things about Austin. The kids....
That's a tough one....

Yeah I think I may see my bank account decrease by $119 for this bad boy - the screen looks incredible from their review. It just bothers me I can get one without the light for just about half the price.

Does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to get your own eBooks onto a Kindle?

Kindle Paperwhite Hands On: What a Beautiful Screen

I think its a mostly simple conversion and transfer to the Kindle but its been so long since I read how I'd have to search for the exact instructions.

So my brother asked me to let his 'baby' out and feed him since my sister in law is away and my bro is stuck working late cause of the convention. This is the goofball

I'm depressed. We passed by a major anniversary on Aug 23rd without acknowledging it.

General ***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

My final post in that epic thread on Dec 15th:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I just wanted to let you know our flight today WILL be departing on time. Welcome aboard flight Galaxy Nexus!"

And of all our current WH family, AntimonyER was the first to post in the thread on Aug 26th.

I think we are over due for the next thread! The Nexus announcement should be happening a month from next week!

Just flew over BB's house on the way to EWR airport!! I waved. Checking our daughter into her dorm at The Joffrey Ballet. You regulars may remember our decision dilemma back in March and we decided to not pass up the opportunity and life experience for her. Still scary for a parent to let loose a 16-year-old in NYC. I wish NYC the best of luck with this one. ;-)

Oh. No.

Please, no.

I still have the shakes from the last one!

LMAO
;)

I remember that clearly. :)

I commend you on the attitude shift - watch out NYC!!

BTW - satellite photos confirm that no one looked up and waved at me during that fly by. No matter, I do have spare oxygen. :D

Usually I hate it but today I did some good ones... my roomate flipped out because he thought his car got towed hehe. It didn't. April Fools.

You have any good ones today?

I did OK in the N7 one but it had a lot shorter life than the GNex one, and that was before my time.

Wow, I was?! Funny thing was, I made that one post, and then didn't post again until thousands of posts later. And still pulled off #3 behind BB and Han ;)

Haha, I will be happy to participate, but I will not be getting a Nexus on release day this time around, giving up my only chance to my wife, since her Droid 3 died, and it doesn't matter that she was still under warranty, she wants a new phone every time her original phone dies :p.

Well, look what hitched a ride to work with me. A very large walking stick. I'm guessing it was around 7" long and ugly (and cool) as hell.

Welcome to one of the worst airports in the world! :p
Glad you made it ok ! And good luck to all of you.

Very cool Pup! I haven't seen a walking stick in decades.

It must be the odd weather. I actually saw another one a few weeks ago and it has been years since I had seen one. This pic is the one from a few weeks ago. Not as large, but this is the type I remember seeing as a kid.
