I've had all the versions: 12yr, 16yr, 30yr, and a 40yr cask locally. Honestly, I think the best is the 16yr. It's not too smokey and is nicely balanced. The 30 and 40yrs are just over the top.

Was a sophomore in high school when it happened. Remember it vividly, and my folks freaking out because my brother worked at the Navy Yard in DC.
Hope you feel better, Anti. Change of the seasons getting to you already?
 
Yeah I was a senior, in my calculus class.

Maybe, although in SE Ga fall doesn't hit for another month, right now it's still summer lite.

I was pregnant and 11 years ago today was my due date. My worthless now ex husband was somewhere in the Midwest (trucker) and my dad came home from Newark to make sure we had numerous routes to the hospital mapped out since I was delivering at one of the overflow hospitals on this side of the river.
 
Morning Nexians! I fell asleep last night fully dressed sitting against my back rest pillow....and woke up the same way when my alarm went off. Oh well. Guess bowling wiped me out, and I didn't even do that well.
 
Good morning all.

Eleven years ago I was home when a friend called me to asked if I was going to get activated back into the Air Force. I had no idea what she was talking about and turned on the news. Glued to the tv the rest of the day, sick to my stomach.

I was suppose to fly to JFK the following day then on to Cairo, Egypt. Obviously neither of those flights happened and I got to stay home. Friends of mine were stuck all over the globe as flights were cancelled or diverted. Some were lucky enough to be sitting in fun places like Amsterdam or Paris. Others were stranded at small airports in Canada as their flights from Europe were diverted.
 
I was in with a patient when another patient burst into the room and said she wasn't coming in, America was under attack. I had no idea what she was talking about and as a psychologist, I thought I had a new delusion to deal with. Somehow though, it did not fit the person who had come in the room. With no tv or radio at work, I checked the internet and there was nothing. Then I called a family member 1200 miles a way to ask what was going on and learned of the attack. I felt sick to my stomach. Having been born in Brooklyn, much of my extended family still lived in NYC and my own grandfather worked in the Trade Center in the 70's and we were able to go in them shortly after they opened. I remember talking to my grandfather after the Movie 'Towering Inferno' came out in 1974 about how safe he was in the Tower. He assured me nothing could happen like the movie depicted. A year later in 1975 there was a fire in the trade center and we were grateful it happened overnight . To this day I get upset when I see pictures of the NY skyline, with or without the towers. :(
 
I was in 8th grade at school and no one would tell us what was going on. My mom couldn't pick me up because she was involved at a school and helping coordinate parents picking their kids up and my dad worked in downtown NYC. Crazy to think its 11 years since the incident.

I love seeing all these people get together and remember, but I just wish people would be this friendly and patriotic other days of the year.
 
Question!

My wife and I are on a 700 minute plan and went over by 75 minutes this month. We called, and the lady told us that we can up our account to 1400 minutes for an extra $20 for this month, and then when our billing cycle is up, we can call and have them put it back down to 700 minutes.

My question is, does this affect our unlimited data? The CSR said no, but I just don’t believe it. Does anyone have any info on this?

I have changed my minutes allotment as well as added unlimited texting without it affecting my 2 year contract before, so I think you can do it. I will admit that was before the tiered plans, but I don't think you will have any problems.

Just wondering what Rom and Kernel combinations everyone is on. Me sourcery 2.2, original kernel. I have had the phone restart several times in the last couple of days and the screen go black and not come back until a battery pull.Thinking about changing kernels or Roms, just wondering what everyone else is using.

Sourcery 2.2 and Lean Kernel 4.3.0. I like the fastcharge option of Lean, and the stock kernel doesn't have it :)
