Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Wow twice I am one week... 6 hrs between posts? I hope everyone is enjoying family time like me!
Just stopped in to say hi! Getting to spend some quality tv and video game time with my kids. Excellent way to spend the day!
 
Just got back from brunch and Xmas card shopping. We have a small little gift store in the "hip" part of town. They had some awesome cards but mostly not the kind you send to parents. :)
Also, went back to the fancy furniture store that we got a GC to from our wedding (over a years ago!). Found one we liked that'll (just barely) fit into our apartment. Probably will wait until after the holidays to order it though. :D

EDIT: Please make sure you check the MD5s on your downloads on the PHONE before flashing! Astro will do that. I DL'd the ROM and good thing I checked: the MD5 and file sizes were all wrong. Had to delete the file and DL it again.
 
Haha yeah been a busy day, grocery shopping, then playing with the kids, and then for dinner I made chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Green beans. Mmmmmm was good too. Back to the grind tomorrow

I think a lot to do with it is that many of us are Guides & Mods now... and we're out and about, busy Guiding & Modding! :p

Anyway, backup's done, all charged... JBSourcery 4.2 here I come!


EDIT: This is a test build: flash at your own risk and enjoy! Remember that Android 4.2 creates a different file structure, so you HAVE to have the latest CWM or TWRP to flash it correctly.
 
Morning folks! Took a weekend away from the computer. First weekend off since mid-October! Back to normal here for a little while, just in time for the Holiday madness, haha.

Oh, and Anti, I was about as devestated as your wife. This means something else for Alabama fans to be obnoxious about! Why didn't he bat the ball down instead of catching it!! :(
 
I am doing a TiBU restore as a trial to see if it all works... including call log & SMS/MMS. If it messes up, I'll wipe again and try something else. Experimenting is fun :)
 
Thanks for your reminder doc for flashing Chief, it is a great checklist to go by. Two questions for you, I just downloaded 4.2 and gapps from IRC. Check sums were wrong on first two downloads of 4.2, but third try got it (great reminder to everyone to do btw). First, any bugs so far for you? Second, I noticed in your checklist, no mention of clearing settings in Wallet. I assume this is something we still need to do?
