Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I finally got to see the dark night rises yeah I am behind I loved it ... but why did they have to blow the home of my Steelers? That was so mean :eek:
 
So we saw Les Mis last night, sold out show! The girls ahead of us didn't get in. Thankfully we reserved ahead of time. :)
It was pretty amazing. I've seen the musical before so sort of remember the story line and the songs. Jackman and Hathaway were great. Highly recommended.
 
I guess back to work today since they took away the week of Xmas shutdown from us. 9 days off would have been nice.

Hope everyone had a great holiday with family, friends & some good presents.

I enjoyed the nice 4-day weekend and bottling some beer and starting a new brew. Anyone get anything really exciting?

Son got me a Samsung tab 2.0 7". The internet speed makes my Nexus seem like a pokey puppy.

I just click it and boom, i'm on. Wi-Fi both of them but you really notice the difference.
 
Yeah, perhaps. I guess I'm just a hardened winter weather vet. People in general are always in too big a rush to be bothered with safe winter driving. Then again, people in general are terrible drivers in perfect weather conditions.
 
Indeed. My Aunt & Uncle were suppose to leave from South Bend, IN to come to Rochester today, but decided to wait until tomorrow because all of I-90 was going to be a disaster today for the most part.

Yikes :eek:! Hopefully things improve. Going to be spending a lot of time digging out from the 11-17 inches we're suppose to get. My gf has to drive home tonight during the peak of it when she gets out of work. I'm already nervous.
 
We have the snow removal crews up here to keep up with the snowfall, but the strong winds blowing it right back onto the roads is what makes it so difficult. It doesn't help that once the storm finishes, the lake is suppose to flare up and produce more lake effect the rest of the week.

Going to be heavy snow too. Events like this make me want to trade in my car for a Subaru, lol.
