What are ya brewing, Stigy?

...

Brewed a 2.5 gallon chocolate stout this weekend -- I can't wait!

Sounds great, Stigy! :)

I've tried so many commercial chocolate beers and honestly, the only one I've liked is from Rogue. I believe it's essentially Shakespeare Stout with chocolate extract added. But, man is it good.

Speaking of, try this:

Buy a Hazelnut Brown Nectar from Rogue and a Chocolate Stout and then make a normal black & tan with those two. Then you have a Nutella beer that is so delicious, it's amazing.

ALSO speaking of black & tans -- 120 minute is back out in stores from Dogfish Head. Me and a friend of mine are going to get 120 minute and World Wide Stout (both about 16% ABV) and make a black & tan that is referred to as Heaven & Hell. I cannot wait for this.

I've had it once. Can't say I really want to try it again. ;)
Few places in town occasionally have it on tap. Not sure what the pour size is, but probably something like 10oz!
When I was in Tampa visiting my dad they did 6oz pours at their local Whole Foods, which was really cool by the way.

We still have a growler problem in DC (but, maybe it's changed lately?). I remember going to the one in the Bowery in NYC. They had an AWESOME beer selection and sold growlers of local stuff. :)
Got a bottle of some rare Bon Chien there. Delicious. Actually have another version of it in the fridge. Been there probably a year now, still haven't drank it.

This Whole Foods in the Bowery has an amazing beer selection: Bowery | Whole Foods Market

Yep, the one I was referring to (and it's also HUGE!).
The one by my work just restructured a small dining area to become a whole beer/coffee bar. Their selection is fine, but nothing special.
If you're ever in DC, this is the place to visit:

I rarely go since it's so expensive, but Greg Engert puts together an amazing draft list. He literally has huge pull in what beers come to the District.

Every report I'm seeing is saying the international version of the S4 is getting the octa core while the US gets the Snapdragon. I'm thinking eventually they'll put the octa core in the US verison. I know, I know. Do we really need an 8 core? No. But if you are giving me a choice, then I want it :) And I know the Snapdragon is no slouch. I want a Samsung chip in a Samsung phone.

Wow, Andy Rubin stepped down! The Chrome boss will run Android now, paving the way for a possible convergence... Hmmm

Edit: And Google I/O tickets sold out in 49 minutes at $900 a pop

I had a busy night BUT it resulted in me getting to pick up my 2 boxes of Samoa Girl Scout Cookies so I'm quite happy!!

Morning all.. This week has been nuts!
Happy PI day!
Some pretty disturbing articles lately, just wanted to say that... But I am still happy, knowing I am not a real smartphone user, and I can actually use my device the way I want to.... And I am still excited to see Glass, regardless of what some people think of as an invasion of privacy, I will make sure they are not a friend so glass won't recognize them.

Good morning everyone - happy almost Friday.

I cannot believe Google is shutting down Google Reader - it is probably my most visited website. Found a few alternatives so far, will report back which I like better than the rest.

So sore from the gym yesterday, oof.
