Geek, there are over 100 acts but the headliners include Paul McCartney, Bjork, ZZ Top, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Mumford & Sons, Weird Al Yankovic, etc. etc. etc.

I normally avoid Bonnaroo like the plague but this year's lineup is just too much to resist!

Awesome! I'm going to have to find the list somehwere.

Edit: meh, outside of the ones you just mentioned, not much I care about...and really don't care about some of them. Big names but a little before my time. Mumford & Sons, the lumineers, and Daniel Tosh would be the only 3 I would really like.
 
Hey all, trying to figure out what's going on with my phone - I got a notification saying that my version of Wallet isn't supported anymore, and I can't find it searching in the Play Store. Has it been broken for the GNex again?

Also, my Flash Player appears to be broken - Flash-requiring sites say that I don't have it. I know that Flash for Android has been crazy for a while, but are we totally S.O.L. now? Thanks in advance friends :)
 
It looks like I have to take back what I said last night. Apparently I watched a cheap knock-off of Jack the Giant Killer. I believe I said it was like watching a Syfy movie. What I watched very well may have been on there?

Wow, this is some seriously awesome battery life on the oem extended battery.:eek: This is why I love eclipse rom. :D

Good to hear bbkid, that things are looking up! :)

We got rocked tonight, hail and very heavy winds... But I guess not that bad, as we kept power and kids slept through it. :D

I was wondering how that was hitting you after seeing tweets from the weather channel of baseball sized hail. Intense stuff.

We just got the call that school is delayed opening tomorrow. While I appreciate that the superintendent decided tonight was better than 5:30 am I am bummed because delayed opening means no Zumba for me. :( I abhor snow and can't wait till this crap is done and gone.

I know the feeling. Oddly enough, we're getting almost pure sleet from this system. Going to make it interesting cleaning the car off tomorrow if it all froze together. :rolleyes:

I haven't been outside since the snow/sleet started. I was doing a dance of joy when bowling was cancelled too.
 
Morning all... Big wigs in the office today, should be interesting. Apparently this new site in Austin is like a guinea pig for corporate office foundations... A model they want to try, and possibly follow in the future. Apparently we are meant to be a completely cloud based site... Too bad we had people move here (like my wife and i) so we have a comparison to how computers are supposed to work. This is not it.

Good example: over the weekend one of our server sites, somewhere in Oregon, had a fire, and the facilities were damaged. Since our site is all cloud based, we are dependent on that facility to provide Exchange and program connections. Oops... They were still offline yesterday, and oops no redundancy... And oops, we were offline all day yesterday, until emails and electronic faxes started appearing at 5 min till the office closed. Should be fun playing catch up, while 2 board members are here. Oh and one of those board members.. The vp of operations for all of IT. And the other one... The vp for worldwide customer service. Lol Since we are supposed to be a Call Center, the focus has been to make sure the queue is always running.. Which is managed by a cloud based system.

Looking forward to seeing if anyone says something to them today, or if the new site manager is just going to be #*$ kissing today... My guess is everything will appear to be in perfect working order and we will be congratulated on how well we are doing!

Yikes. Poo on Samsung. Looks like Nexus for me. All of you other Gnexers should be elligible for an upgrade around the same time as me. December :) Of what I'm hearing so far, it looks like the Moto X phone or the Nexus 5 will be my front runners.

Talked to a co-worker about her Note 2 yesterday and I've pretty much ruled it out. I thought the pen functionality would be nice, but it just doesn't look practical on that size of a screen. Really too big for a phone but not big enough for a tablet to function how I would want it to. So maybe the next Note 10.1 will be something I could try. I think that would be my ideal setup. A Note 10.1 and a Nexus phone.
 
I've become quite a brat about phones now, and I'm blaming ALL of you! :D I would even consider Moto IF it was a nexus device. Although I may jump to the death star if they don't cripple it like Verizon does.
