Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Wow Kelmar, that's spot's bound to improve soon. It can't hurt forever!
Well, unless the doc left a pair of forceps in there or something :p

*SIGH*

Spent 5 hours at our son's first residence away from home. A condemn-able single wide that the manager has already said he'll be the last tenant in. The first thing to go were the slimy carpets: all the way to the baseboards. We will mop the baseboards with bleach water and - if he HAS to live there - install linoleum remnant throughout.

We don't know if this is going to be habitable even after our hard work: we're hoping something better for the same low rent opens up soon so the manager can scrap this one. I can't imagine anything being any worse than this.

If they make a Nexus 4 with LTE and WITHOUT the glass back I would consider it. Other than that, I want nothing to do with it.

I have to change my background and move apps around and resize widgets every so often with my Nexus because I get bored with it.

I run VERY minimal. Only thing on my home screen is a battery widget.... what can I say, I'm boring! :smokingsomb:

this sucks ^^^ but if the rumor mill over at xda holds true 4.3 is going to have a lot of changes under the hood with talks of better power management and processor usage ... it may make our nexi last more then 8 hours HEHE :D:D:D

Honestly, I understand Google's attempt at slowing things down so developers can catch up. BUT, I will always be on the latest version (via custom ROM) of Android that my device can handle. :)
I know that GB still has a huge slice of the pie out there, but it's mostly on lower end phones and I'd wager to bet that the owners of those devices could care less what version of Android their on. ;)

Blasted Google Play Music!

No, it works GREAT. But I don't have a single song pinned for offline listening... yet it eats up a tremendous amount of space. I just started a nandroid and the file size is almost 3GB thanks to Play! Now I have to go back in, delete the nandroid, wipe app cache and data, then make the nandroid again: it'll be around 1.3GB.

WTH is it storing on my phone????

EDIT: On a separate note... WOW! Gamers rejoice!

Good morning - happy Monday!

If you don't have Pixlr Express for editing photos you need to get it - its free and probably the most amazing mobile photo editing app out there. You can do slight adjustments to insane photo effects with light leaks and fake overlays on top. I took this picture this morning from the train station.

Great picture. Looks like a great day to me.

If Google decides to delay Key Lime Pi, I think they know it is for the best. However, I do want to see a new device from Google at I/O. If they must give time for OEM's to adapt the new operating system for their devices, I know it will be worth the wait.

^ This!

Good morning. I have a sprained right ankle and a blister the size of a half dollar on the ball of my right foot. Somehow I still need to make it to the gym today. Lord, help me.
