Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Morning all! Is so nice that it's already Tuesday :)

We had a busy weekend, but lots of fun, day trip to Atlanta on Saturday for the Atlanta zoo and the World of Coke, Sunday my wife was gone all day so I had the kids, we played and cleaned up the playroom. Then yesterday went to the pool, then saw epic with the kids, and then grilled out.

Had a little scare, one of the reasons my wife was gone Sunday was her cousin graduated high school. As the only two children of that generation on that side, they are very close. Well got a call yesterday, she was on her way to Key West with some friends when they had a blowout on the interstate, the driver (mom of one of the friends) lost control and the truck flipped 4 times. Thankfully no serious injuries, although she got the worst of it, with cuts on her arms, legs, feet, and face/head from flying glass, including one on her head that needed quite a few stitches.

Good morning everyone - not many pages to catch up on it seems, but I will do so when I am caught up on my email from the past week.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi - Disney was an absolute blast. I made a consolidated picture of all my favorite pictures from the trip. I will check back in later.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Scary stuff Anti! Glad everyone came out with no serious injuries!

Good to see you back Stig! Glad you enjoyed your trip!

We went and purchased a new to us "pre-owned" vehicle this weekend and here we are 3 days later making an appointment to take it to the shop! GRR It'll be under warranty, but still a very unpleasant thing to deal with. Noticed a hissing sound when I pressed the brake pedal and then a little bit later nearly hit someone at a red light because the brakes just went dead. Pedal became very stiff and required a lot of force to get the vehicle stopped. Believe it's a problem with the booster/master cylinder. We've driven it quite a bit since Friday and it's only done that once on the road. I thought it happened a couple of times in a parking lot but it was hard to tell since we weren't up to speed.

Sounds like a master cylinder issue based on your pedal description.

I am trying to sell my car and find a decent manual MK3 Jetta or GTI. I drove my friend's manual MK4 GTI this weekend and its 100000x more fun than my car.

I think I'm leaning that way too Stig. Just going to take it to the dealer and drop it off today. Going out of town tomorrow for a couple days so I'll just leave it with them and hope they get it fixed by Friday. Regardless, I don't think I'll let the wife drive it till I know for sure it's fixed.

My parents are flying today for the first time ever. They texted earlier saying they made it through security, lol. They've been asking us questions for a month on how to pack and even called last night to make sure they had everything in the right piece of luggage. Funny when the children get an opportunity to coach the parents through something. :)

Following their flight on flightaware and they are taxiing down to the runway now.

Just when these magical Haswell processors hit the market. ;):D

Nope.

After the laptop slept for the night it decide there was a network adaptor but still won't connect. Tried everything I could. I think I'll just go with an Ethernet cable.

I would love to buy a new laptop. However, I've been working on building my credit back up and I might be at a point where I could try for a mortgage?

I can't wait for my kids to get their first plane ride. But with all our family within a half day drive, it's hard to justify the cost.

Haha, Planes are awesome!!

The flight back into Newark on Saturday night was really bumpy to do the winds in NJ. We had to cruise at 29,000 feet which was pretty low but it avoided some of the bad turbulence that they knew was higher up.

I usually send these off to the S3 WH, but I'll give you guys a taste this time. ;):D

Sliced with a homemade chicken liver pate, brussel sprout and mushroom lentils, and some salad. :)

Looks like another long night in doodah. A couple of tornados already and severe weather. I figured we were going to get it when we had temperatures and humidity both in the 80's. We've been fine here locally, but these things can pop up on a moment's notice. My car can testify to that.

good morning / late evening my nexican family

so is anyone here good at or know some really good UCCW themes or skins I got the app last night (yeah i am slow i know) and hardly have not turned my screen off trying to make it look awesome

Pardon me if this has already been discussed, but looks like the S4 will run on the latest AWS LTE spectrum on Verizon's network. First phone to do so.

Ugh I forgot how stressful looking for a car is - I thought looking for something used might be a bit easier, but its just as annoying.

I wish I would've just bought my car in a 5spd and not automatic.

Anything in particular you're looking for? And I second the 5/6 spd option; I will never drive another automatic by choice again, not enough control of the car.

It is cool that is compatible, but I think due to it's release date it's actually the second. Didn't the Nokia Lumia 928 come out first?
