Barra told me Beats Audio will still work — the hardware optimization is active all the time, but it won't put an icon in the menu bar. HTC's UltraPixel camera module is still present, but it's being made to work with the stock Android camera app — Barra said it'll just "do what it does," adding that more details would be forthcoming as Google and HTC work on the software. There's never been a stock Android device with a great camera, and it'll be interesting to see how the proven cameras in the GS4 and One perform without custom software.

Well, of COURSE Verizon is going to muff it up and the whole release will be a total taffy pull like the Gnex release was. And it'll get very little advertising or sales attention unless it's bogged down with bloatware and the bootloader's locked.

As long as someone like Wugfresh can develop a toolkit to beat all that, I'll likely pick it up and wait patiently for the development community to get hoppin'

TGIF for the Friday folks...
I know I have been lurking here and everywhere for a while, but just wanted to pop in today and say hi. I am still running JDX with no issues, very stable for me, including Lean.
RL has been pretty rough for a few months, not getting better, and not getting worse yet. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Work is fine, Austin is fine... Just personal health and children issues that keep coming up /rant.
Hope everyone is doing fine!
And I also wish for the HTC One on VZW, but will keep watching to see what ends up being released....

Anyone having bluetooth issues on the latest JBSourcery?

Having a really hard time staying connected to my Pebble.
 
BT has plagued us since the binaries changed in Android 4.2.2, Stigy. You can TRY the 4.1 binaries... but for the most part, we're resigned to waiting for 4.3 to be released and hope that Google did something clever to fix it :o

ACTUALLY just switched from the Sourcery kernel to LK and it seems to have resolved the connection issue. Let's see if it helps out for the rest of the day.
 
FWIW, I've been running PA 3.56 and have experienced far better battery life than AOKP. It doesn't have close to the tweaks as Sourcery or AOKP, but solid nonetheless. Worth giving a shot (this is with the stock kernel coming with it).

I have to agree the HTC T6 looks very interesting.
 
Interesting stuff there Chief. It seems to have some overlap with Home Gaming Consoles but that's cool. Seems like it could be viable if it cost less.

On a semi-related note, my little boy took 4 DVDs/BRays and stuffed em into my PS3. Needless to say, my warranty is void now as I had to take the sucker apart to remove the discs.

On another note, I was offered a job at Best Buy. Gonna go take a drug test. I'll pass that and background no problem. Starting pay is not great but I will be striving for promotion as soon as training is over.
 
Thanks Chief! Excited to be selling tech, mostly phones. Get to help with Tablets and PCs as well. Obviously, looking to get into management ASAP!
