Its been a busy couple days! Anniversary party Saturday to celebrate my aunt and uncle making 50 years together. Sunday was a fundraising dinner for my cousin's family to help with medical bills. Monday mom needed errands run and I got to see Now You See Me (which was really good). And Tuesday was work. Oh, and my car decided to pick this week to have a wire corrode and break. Dad's going to try to see if he can at least get it connected to the battery to see if that's the only problem. Thankfully we have a third vehicle so I have wheels while mine are out of commission. I hope everyone is having a good week so far!

I didn't post about it because I am bitter, and not at the Giants.

My "buddy" basically disappeared from the world for the three days leading up to and the day of the game. He basically blew me off without a single word.

To make matters worse, we had no communication before that which one would interpret as a reason for this behavior.

Built my first Pebble watchface - I will share the source tomorrow, but it works with something I built in PHP a few weeks back.

When you launch the watchface it will go out to my script and grab your Starbucks information and display balance, stars & rewards right on your watch. Unfortunately the barcode is hardcoded into the watch but I am trying to find a way around it.

I forgot much of a PITA coding stuff in C could be - even combining two strings is a pain.

Bah, hoping to get my white Pebble this month. I've been to the watch face website and glad to see so many options so I'm not insanely bitter like some. ;)
But, hoping to get mine asap.

Whoo hoo I got an email requesting shipping verification for my Leap Motion!

I know it's not Android, but I'm thrilled nonetheless to know it'll be here early next month. I pre-ordered one as soon as I saw the prototype video and SO look forward to navigating my PC with the wave of my hand. Can't wait to see what all it'll do :)

Goooood morning all - happy Friday!!

My new Pebble Starbucks watchface successfully scanned this morning. If its quiet at work today I'll finish it up and post the source. See the image below though of basically what it looks like based on a mockup I drew. Had to X out and add some noise to the barcode since its unique to my account. It's nothing fancy and only iteration #1 - have some ideas to improve it, but just wanted to post it and get the source out there.

Pretty cool, Stigy. According to Pebble's Twitter account, the white ones are leaving the warehouse shortly, so hopefully I'll see mine in a couple weeks. :)

That'd be awesome - you'll never take it off, haha.

Any watchface ideas you have, let me know. I kinda enjoyed building them. :)
