And remember, no matter how much research you do, the crib will be recalled because someone somewhere had a lack of any parenting skills.

Another thing I'm running into is strollers for twins...they're either too big to fit through doors (hard to believe here in America...yep...that's a fat joke) or they turn like a bus...think I'd rather be able to maneuver it easier and take a chance on being left out of stores while the wife shops.

Nobody said it will be easy, but it will be fun Geek! You will love 'm and use your common sense, which is the most important.

Friends are expecting any time now. Got this waiting for the baby girl

We had a couple double strollers, a maclaren twin triumph, and a baby trend sit and stand deluxe. The triumph was nice, super lightweight and compact for a double, but didn't recline enough for a newborn. I think the twin techno does recline more though, but is heavier and more expensive. The sit and stand deluxe was great, of all 9 it was our favorite. Inexpensive (relatively), still easy to turn even though it's long, plus a ton of different seating options. But it is bulky even folded. Hope that helps!

P.s. Anyone see this?

Our stroller from when we were kids - sat one kid and bags in back or two kids, one behind another. Bottom pan came off with the handle and became a walking trainer.

Weighed a lot, didn't fold up. Great ride though. I kept taking it down the basement steps. :D

I think since we're having twins and won't have to deal with different ages at this point...we're going to end up getting one of the cheaper frames that the infant carseat snaps into since they'll only be in the infant seats up to a year. For after that I think the Britax B-Agile double looks like a good option. This way we don't have to worry about finding a convertible stroller that fits 2 infants and then has 2 toddler seats for later.

Don't laugh, Pup - why I've been wearing the same outfit for years!

As I age gracefully, though, I'm suddenly drawn to plaid Bermuda shorts, black socks and sandals...

:p

Happy "hump" day - even though we have off tomorrow. Boss asked me to come in on Friday for a half day so might just drive in to not have to take the train.

BTW -- supposedly white Pebbles are shipping now!

Saw that, Stigy! Hoping to see some shipping confirmation any day now. :)

Your wait will be worth while ;) Yours is going to be white too, right?
Maybe it will arrive this weekend, as a reward for working instead of having fun in Baltimore.

I watched this twice for pics and or swears and didn't hear any. Will still put in NSFW tags as howls of laughter may ensue.:D

Okay folks:

As planned, I made the Lil' Smokies Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers!

:D

Here's the recipe:

And let me tell you something. They are LEGENDARY. These epic gut-bombs make the perfect appetizer to the meal yet to come: Porterhouse steaks, sauteed mushrooms, steak fries, and baked beans!

We are OFF the diet wagon today - and we are scarfin' some foody-poos up in here! Cloudy and rainy here, so no fireworks. We'll make our own right here at home!

Hope you guys are having an equally phenomenal Independence Day :)
