Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

My Sony NSZ-GS7 Google TV Player has Amazon Instant Video and it FINALLY registered my Prime account! Free movies for the Darling Bride :D

So you might want to look into it. Costlier than Chromecast (which looks like a Google TV replacement or something) but I have no issues with it...


EDIT: Got my Leap Motion Controller today! And MAN is this thing sensitive! It's gonna take a considerable amount of time for me to get the hang of this, but it's great technology for what it does :)
 
Amazon is saying I'm going to get it on Friday, that's much sooner than Google will get them to people if that is the case.

I do pay for a Galaxy Nexus. I just don't get to use it. Got off work way too early, was that guy at the liquor store at opening (I do start work at midnight), picked up some Great Divide Hercules Double IPA, rooted and flashed the phone, tried to get the dog and cat to participate in gladiator games for my amusement little did I know they would just turn on me.
 
Might sound crazy but after 3 years of working on getting my credit back up I'm finally able to get a loan. My Escape loan is getting redone next week. Lower percentage (2.5) and lower payment. Still need some improvement though.

So I ordered one from Amazon earlier as well, now the Google Play one won't let me cancel. :p
 
Well, if this rumor is true then some fanboy somewhere is sure to have a conniption.

Latino-Review says director-producer J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm are eying Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron for roles in Star Wars: Episode VII. "As for what role Efron would be playing, we don’t know. It happens when you least expect it. We were doing great until a routine medical procedure went wrong, resulting in a major surgery to fix it that laid me out for months. I couldn't pay the bills, of COURSE I couldn't get any help from Social Security or food stamps even temporarily (let's not go there), and our creditors called us every day. But as promised: we eventually paid every dime we owed... with interest.

That was 10 years ago, and all that drama has just now rolled off our credit records. If someone hadn't turned us on to Financial Peace University, we would no doubt have declared bankruptcy... or worse. I cannot recommend it highly enough for the sheer knowledge and empowerment it gives you.

You have to manage your money, or the lack of it will manage you!
 
I second the recommendation of FPU! I don't necessarily follow every single rule but I do look at money a whole lot differently after going through it.
 
Good morning everyone!

Jumped the gun yesterday and ordered my Chromecast from Google Play instead of waiting for Amazon. Oh well it'll be a few more days. Not in any rush to get it, but definitely an impulse buy.

Hope everyone has been well - going to catch up on some back pages over coffee this morning.
 
I'm really curious to see how nicely Verizon is going to play with the new Nexus 7. If there's only LTE radios in it, then it will hypothetically be the first device to test the Block C regulations. I have a strong feeling that the reason the LTE version won't be available when the wifi versions are is because Verizon is kicking and screaming like a child due to this and thus slowing it up.
