Two concerns on the G2...what type of screen (oled or ips lcd?) and battery (removable or not and size). I've never owned an LG, so I'm not familiar with their design standards.

No doubt. Not familiar with Sammyz, but it sounds like I'd better study up in a hurry. And with specs like the G2's, I don't know why there wouldn't be good dev support.

Doh. I downloaded it last night then got distracted and forgot to install it... Looking forward to the user controls, will feel better knowing my 6 year old can't see anything I don't want him to.

My Chromecast is now listed as shipped and is scheduled to be here on Monday.

If I wanted to drive an hour away from a here I could get the new N7 at a Best Buy. Some stores are selling it now.
