Just finished my 7.5 miles for the day (unfortunately no mud or dirty girls though).
 
Yes, showered. Silly but if I don't shower I feel even ickier. Its raining here too which will make it more fun! We take off at 11. Hoping to get pics after!

And thanks Treo - at my age it seems like another day to age gracefully... but I take what I can get!

The Darling Bride is making fresh peach cobbler and I'm making homemade peach ice cream to go with it. All made with peaches straight from the tree: got 'em this morning at the local farmers market :)

What shall I do about the X? Uh, buy it when it comes out! Next is the mind-disturbing question: who will be the first to open a Moto X Watering Hole after launch? :rolleyes:

Don't worry, I'm the same way. Showered before my run. Shower before I detail the car (easily a 2 hour job for a simple wash/wax when I do it).

What's the distance?

Glad I'm not the only crazy one!
It's a 5k with obstacles. Some were closed due to the rain but the ones that were open were so fun. I'm a little bruised (no, can't show pics because of where I'm bruised) but it was a blast!

EDIT: My cobbler is done, ice cream made and setting in the freezer! By the time we get home stuffed from dinner out, we're gonna get MORE stuffed on this!

Too dangerous for climbing up and/or down. They want us to stay in one piece and some of the stuff was metal so add the regular mud and the rain and it was a broken bone waiting to happen. :(

Can I haz some cobbler please?!

Pam said you got dirtier than her, but I think you just finished dirtier than her. Congrats. Having stood at the finish line at Pam's for a couple hours and watching woman stumble through, it is an accomplishment.:thumb:
 
Yes, BB, I mailed you a piece of peach cobbler with peach ice cream. Sent it parcel post :p

And well done on the mud run! I don't like driving 5k, let alone trudging through that much mud! Good job :D

EDIT: Well, my marital relationship with Sourcery is coming to an end, methinks.


Sourceress ROM has just become way too buggy for me to live with. Making my backups now to flash ParanoidAndroid 3.69.

It was a great year, but Team Sourcery is no more :(
 
Hey everyone! Spent the afternoon in the kitchen. Made breakfast burritos, (55 of them) all individually wrapped. They go in the freezer and are microwaved when desired to be eaten. Very easy to warm up and give to the kids for the drive to school when running late.

Also grilling the chicken for all our meals this week. Tonight having blackened chicken with mango salsa, rice pilaf and broccoli.
 
I made blackened chicken once, but we couldn't eat it. I cooked it at 550 degrees for 6 hours. It was definitely black...

<----- Sticks to toaster pastries :p
 
Evening everyone how is it going???

and congrats BB I have see them things done and they are not easy to do hope you had as much fin doing at it looks like you did in that pic
