Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Yeah. That's not really on the table here as then I would be paying full price for a phone that I will keep for two years anyway. Might as well sign the contract and get the subsidized price. But thanks for the suggestion. And anyway I rarely use close to 1 GB of data. I just don't want to lose that safety net. I would be happy with 2 GB at the same price but if they are offering me 6 GB who am I to say no? I'll never get close!
 
SUCCESS!

I have no idea how it happened other than (what we in the Navy technician world call) PFM, but I downloaded and installed Kies AGAIN, rebooted AGAIN and the phone recognized the PC and vice versa!

All 6 Star Wars Blu-rays were successfully moved to the Note 3 and OMG they're gorgeous on that massive screen. Pictures moved, everything in place.

One happy Chief on a happy Friday! :D

Has anyone tried any of the micro 4/3rd cameras? I'm looking at the Fuji X series and the Panasonic GX7. Thinking of getting rid of the clunky SLR and all my gear to go more compact.

Hey Bread,
Are you aware of the built in Networking mode of the G2. Turn that on and the G2 looks just like another computer on your network.
 
It appears I was mislead in thinking all mirrorless were micro 4/3... What I really mean is I'm considering a mirrorless camera! Ha I really think I'm leaning towards those with an APS-C sensor over the 4/3rds format. Kinda limits my selection a little if I do that.

Also, HUGE thanks to Stigy for helping me finally root my G2. :D:thumb:

Edit: Found wireless storage. Tried putting in the two possible URLs into Chrome and FF on my laptop and it does nothing.
 
Can someone send me the link for the process of routing the G2? Also, I accidentally took the update. Does that matter?
 
I don't know about you folks, but the ol' Chief's day is just getting better and better!

First Verizon offers to swap out my broken Chinese S-view cover with a brand new one; then I get a great deal on some fund-raising stuff for our DAV Chapter (saving us money); and now somebody just bought the 1982 Datsun 280ZX - for far more than I would have settled for!

So this home-skillet is headed to the bank to put some money against our truck payment so we can pay it off, sell it and buy Mom a new Kia Cadenza :)

I just got my nails done in hot pink and am raring to go for the the big WALK here in Birmingham tomorrow. Ya gotta love when folks say we are raising awareness. Pink is everywhere! Kinda hard to miss. Now we just gotta find that cure-all. Wouldn't that make everyone's weekend shiny bright?

Well Kelmar, I've talked about wanting to sell the 280ZX here before. I can't help it because you miss posts... :p

Anyway, I'm probably a long way off from you. Depending on where you are, you would be facing a heck of a trip to get it!

I've been looking for a few years for a clean one that wasn't trashed. Trust me, I would have traveled for it! :/
