Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

All this camera talk made me want to share a pic from the G2 today.

Wow, thats a good plicture

Anyone in the NYC area? We need a volunteer to lush BB; rub her feet, prepare her a hot tub, pour her a nice drink.

Thanks Kaat! I'm currently sitting in my bed with my feet up. Hoping a good night of sleep, in a bed rather than a tent, will help. 33 out of the 39 miles in 2 days really takes a toll on your body. Who knew??!! :D

Thank you BB. Great effort and great cause. You are a hero.

And I would be challenged getting my feet onto the ottoman...without the walking part.

Well the Escape went out on me again tonight. That makes 5 times this year and 3 in the last 3 days. I thought it was stalling but it actually is not stalling. They call it limp home mode. I'm not sure how that is supposed to get you home when it is barely moving? Luckily there was a KFC to pull into as I was making the turn. That is when I noticed that it is still running at just under 1000rpm and when you push on the gas it doesn't respond.

BeeBs!

I know I took away the link to your donation bid a bit early (for some reason I thought you had already done it; it's been a whirlwind of a year for me and I never took the time to put it back in my signature  ) but I was very happy to support you. Nevertheless, congrats on finishing and making a sacrifice. Says a lot about the type of person you are!

Please pamper yourself to the fullest! You deserve it!

In other news, I still have an iPhone 5 and am going crazy waiting for the Nexus 5! Someone help me!

Whelp, I finally pushed the lady over the edge and gave her my S3. The Gnex was having more problems charging. Either we had to take the battery out for a few secs, put it back in and charge it, or charge through the computer. Not sure what was wrong with it.
Had to transfer over her 4400+ texts though!
Guess if I can get the Gnex working okay it'll be my music streaming device at work. :o
Or hell, I could even use the old Bionic! ;)

Good morning everyone - oof Mondays.

Ended up buying a road bike from a friend this weekend. Definitely much different feeling than riding a mountain bike, but hoping to get some miles on it this week before it starts getting really dark and really cold out. Need to look into a bike trainer for the winter months.

But what stock version? Still looks like a chop to me. Haven't kept up on XDA, does someone have an AOSP ROM for the G2 yet. Figured it would look more like a picture than a stock photo.

I'm not surprisesd if 4.3 is out. Wouldn't expect 4.4 to take long either, since the G2 and Nexus 5 have almost identical internals.

Yeah, I'm sure it is shopped. He was just salivating over the possible look of it on the G2

So what am I looking at? Is that a chop?

Yeah it was a quick mock up I put together of the latest leaked Kit Kat (4.4) launcher, dubbed the Google Launcher Experience onto our G2.

Yeah I had borrowed a mountain bike from my friend and did about 50 miles this past week and my friend happened to be selling this so I picked it up from him. Definitely going to take some time getting used to riding this over a mountain bike.

Filed a claim with NHST this morning then I visited a Ford dealership. After explaining the whole thing he said they have had people come in with that issue and they usually end up replacing the throttle body. I'll hopefully find out Friday since I couldn't leave it today because of short notice and I have physical therapy get to. If they need it for more than a day I'll have to see if my insurance will let me get a rental?

If its in warranty and this is a known issue, they should give you a rental from the dealer.

Good morning guys.

Great work, BB!

I woke up this morning to see that the 2014 Note 10.1 is rooted now as well!

Now I've got 2 great little beasts humming along.

I'm still tempted to move on the Moto X DE, but I'm not ready to cash in on the GNex yet. Now that I have a non smashed Nexus 7 I only use my phone for calls and texts:rolleyes::P

Congrats on the walk BB. We are all proud of you.:)

I'd guess more intake manifold. Modern engines use PCV back into the intake manifold for emission reasons. Basically, you're blowing oil into the intake and the TB/manifold can get oiled up and cause problems.

Fix is to clean and/or replace. Just a thought, but I've seen random stalling caused by this.

Even though it isn't stalling? I thought it was stalling until last night when it happened again. I pulled into a parking lot and I sat there for a minute observing it before turning it off, the vehicle was still running under 1000rpm. Push on gas pedal and nothing happens.
