Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Thought I would peer over into the Apple world and see what was going on today. Got a good laugh for my time spent there, lol. Caught up on the liveblog in just a few minutes. Retina display on the mini, made the clunky iPad smaller and renamed it to iPad Air. ROFL :)

Anyone buying a new iPad Air?!

Yep, I am.

For my wife.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition), otherwise known as the SGN10.1-2014, is the best tablet I've ever owned.

No more using fat styli to write notes during a meeting. This thing is the closest to pen & paper I've ever seen on a tablet.

I have my family hooked on the Android ecosystem, so the iPad is out for my wife. I just need to convince her that when it's time to refresh her Gen 1 Kindle to go with a Nexus 7 or 10.

I've been lusting after the Note for a while now.

I didn't know you could root and run multi-window with any app...now I GOTTA have it! Lol I used a co-worker's Note 8 and loved it. I could only imagine loving it more with extra real-estate.

Yep. I have the any-app multi window thing going on with the 10.1 and the Note 3. I rarely use it on the Note 3 though. It's a huge screen, but I'm not a fan of heavy multitasking on anything less than a tablet sized screen.

Videos look great on it as well!

Edit:

The only thing that frustrates me about the Note 10.1 experience is the lack of cases available at this point. Samsung really sucks bad at releasing accessories in a timely fashion for its launches. I hear the Book Cover for it is coming out this week at Best Buy, but I have no reason to believe them. They are like Verizon CSR's.

I would like to Use any app in Window mode
Iwauldnt get a Apple ipad No way I love android too much and haven no reason to move

I have to admit Apple does have some advantages in some areas. Less lag/stutter than Android, much better PDF annotation apps (a must in my field), and overall their apps are better looking and more polished.

But the S-Pen is very difficult to beat. I've literally tried over 20 different styli, from cheap ones to very expensive ones, and about 50 different note-taking apps on Apple, and nothing compares to the S-Pen and LectureNotes. It's ridiculous.
