Galaxy Note Camera Shutter speed?

So does anyone think that an update or ICS will help with the Notes slow camera shutter speed?
The phone takes very good still shots, but the shutter lag is pretty dam slow.

The shutter speed is horrible. Tried to take some shots yesterday and nothing but blur. :(

I find that it takes the picture and then a few split seconds later the screen blinks, but it actually took the picture quickly. One this I did find to help with blur, it turn on anti-shake

Has nothing to do with the shutter. Lighting can effect how quickly the camera takes pics and of course hand holding technique, especially when zoomed out.

Here's another camera question. When you have the camera open, you can click the gear on the top left and open the "Shortcuts" and then exchange any of them with the three or four at the top. Is there any way to access all those other settings without having to exchange them in the shortcut bar. It's a pain in the butt to have to keep swapping them when you want to use something different.

Thanks
Glenn

If you want to change a setting but do not want the settings as a shortcut, when you press the gear, it brings up the different settings, just scroll through them to change the one you want. There is no scroll bar, so it does not look like you can scroll, but you can.

If you are getting motion blur on your shots try switching the Scene Mode to the Sports option. Presumably, this would be the setting with the fastest shutter speed (although I can't find any indication what settings this actually uses).

You could also try sliding the setting for Exposure Value to the left (making the image darker). Typically, cameras make this adjustment by a combination of faster shutter speed and/or narrowing the aperture. (Both of these reduce the amount of light that reaches the sensor).

The speed of any camera's shutter is to depend on your camera or other devices where these shutters are installed. The galaxy note camera's shutter speed is very well and fine it contains many programs in it and the shutter speed is very well i like this camera's shutter speed
