MP4 movies (or most video formats for that matter) work without a hitch in the Note. Just connect the Note to the PC and drag and drop the movies with the file browser.

No, its not taking the movies (MP4) when downloaded, on the phone it has the movie, but will not play. That's with the drag and drop. Connected via cable top PC.

What do you mean by 'will not play'? How did you try to play the videos? Did you save the downloaded videos to phone memory and tried to open them?

That's the message the phone gave me.... I have downloaded all my music and it plays fine... was able to do 1 music video, but as I said before. downloading the movies, putting them on the 32 micro sd card, or on the phone 16Gig internal storage. It will not play..... Not understanding that, I don't you are able to help me... but thanks.

You may already know this, but give it a try it worked for me.

1. Settings /wireless and network/usb utilities, click on connect storage to pc
2. On your pc under my computer click on your micro SD storage card to open it.
3. Create a new folder /name Movies.
4. Locate the movie you want in your hard drive (not in itunes) and drag it to your new folder (Movies). itunes movies are all in MPEG-4 formats

If the movie starts to transfer from your hard drive to your micro SD card, it WILL play I know because I have done it.

If your movie file is bigger than 4 Gig. It will not transfer over due to the FAT 32 format of your micro SD card. If this is the case you are S.O.L

I haven

Been There Done That... I think what you are missing, or I am not saying.... Itunes converted these movies to MP4, its 20 years in computers for me, though thats not helping me with android... I put over 20 movies on my Iphone... Now I am trying copy them from Iphone, via 32GIG zipdrive, and connect the GNOTE, as you stated... open the GNOTE files, drag and drop them from the zipdrive to a folder on the GNOTE..... dialog box pops up, that is will not work... I know what I am saying, because I have tried it several times... Movies are about 1GIG, check the internet and you will see about the android format....for Iphone MP4 to andorid....I appreciate, that you are trying to help, but understand this if by now I say its not working.... after all that you have said, I have tried, it the format. Shows that I copied off Tivo, are in the WMV format, that works or MP-4 H.264 will work if I can find a converter.....

i think the standard video player used in the note's gingerbread does not support apple's mp4. last night i sent a video (created by iphone4) and sent it to my buddies note via kakaotalk. when he tried to play it, it would not play at all.
