I should make a correction, I would not recommend ES File manager. I just noticed a mistake will editing my post I inadvertently omitted "Not". I use ES but I would not recommend it to other.

Oh no don't worry about it I use FX and I'm very happy with it ..I wouldn't use anything else

Fot the most part "No", I leave them as is and just replace the app, set the proper permissions and reboot. Thats usually all it takes. Why fix what is not broken.
If that doesn't work and depending on how inportant the mod is to me, I will replace the other folders, files, libs and the rest or flash a .zip that may or may not be compatible, a roll of the dice so to speak. For instance this is a moded clear Google apps (Velvit). It comes as a flashable .zip. I just ported the app rebooted and everything works.

The only other one I'm intended to use is the apk editor..yesterday I discovered that one has some capabilities my FX doesn't..for a few days I've been trying to edit a file inside the ui apk system..and since is a very heavy app..every times I tried the file I need to cook..it always opened it truncated..so couldn't do any thing on it..so this apk editor is the saver for those rear cases..

I Rember you talking about both. If you remember you had ask how to port framwork.jar for the once/always without the forced set as default. In fact it was the beginning of the OP you began. I also rember you wanted hotspot feature asked questions about how to port and from were. If you rember You'll need to port or modify the service.jar and set proper permission.
I you rember, I already ansered you question in regards to sub foulders and provided screen shots. Once again 3-4-3 is in no way sape or fotm the same as chmod 775. You'll have to be able to change 755 to 775. I also said look to you knox folder an take note as to how the developer deleted it from the system. Take notice as how the chmod is changed to 775 and the sub folders are also 775 if you open then there empty. Look to the other that have not been deleted from the rom. If you NOTICE 755 is the chmod. Perhaps you sould RE-READ to refresh your MEMORY .

Brother..you still don't tell me if I should delete also the subfolders and the odex..why?..it's simple is a yes or a no..based on that I will know what to do..so then again..do I delete those folders next to the app or not???

Once you complete this correctly you be able to apply this template when deleting other system apps.

If their folders "no" change permissions to 775 and delete the contents of the folder. If opening one leades to 2 folders change their permissions 775 and delete what's inside.
