Galaxy Note4

Hey Javi..and here's the kicker:

I haven't had any reboot what so ever the whole day..my phone was getting out of control with them...

It could've been for many endless unnumber of reasons that maybe I will never know..the only thing I know is that you and I just corrected it by the things we just did including the deodex change..

**** yeah!!! Im happy ro hear that. :) We'll also look into uninstalling any Magisk residue files as well.

Thats why Google band that feature from rom toolbox pro. It was against seuriry policy (their security). The iron grip og Google.

Hey bro every day I feel bad for the people that have to suck up with this newest phones that don't take other version of apps other than the current one they keep pushing and pushing and pushing and pushing...and all you have to do is update..or not been able to use the app you want so bad..that's sad.

Let's get into that procedure, Javi!!, nothing would make me more happy is to fix that...

The Hot Spot setting was nissing from my custom rom and I was able to get it back by copying the csc's of my rooted stock rom. I placed them in a .zip and flashing it from custom recovery. As you can see, I got the hot spot setting to appear on my custom rom.

Javi, this is what the root checker says as of today...

It seems like multiple locations, right?

Great observation my friend, In fact thoughts are multiple possible root location. The end result is root success.

If you installed the deodexed rom in the link below then it doesn't have Magisk as the root method.

Try it for a while, check you wifi, bluetooth and data connection. Does the rom feel stable? Aldo if you miss certain features of your old rom you may be able to port some of them them to your current rom.

This is an example of an N7 rom for the n910p.
Using ZArchiver app to view the roms.

The Apocalypse has Magisk

Just delete the Magisk ftom a rom and then flash it and after that flash correct SuperSu (chainfire) .zip.

Actually it feels very stable..muuuuuuuch more than the previous deodex I tried for a week..in fact I have my doubts it was a deodex(no where inside the about device says "deodex"..

I think I'm going to keep this one..

Hi Javi!, I finally made it back after about seven days of intense flashing, experimenting, mooding, porting..and specially ultimately backing up this last custom rom and my settings on it..it wasn't easy man..very intense..for some reason always ended up bricked every times..without exaggeration I did brick like twenty times, bro..
But hey, at the end I finished with the results I was looking for..even majority of the times is too soon to say so(crossing my fingers).

Hey also, I did encounter a big issue..the trick you showed me with the Rom Toolbox to get the "find my device" box unchecked..it would not stick..after a while would go back to be checked..so that made me go very very very very very deep into to that issue with that very same app the Rom Toolbox

Screenshot_2020-10-31-13-02-38.png
..and I came up with BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG results!..if you notice the check box isn't just unchecked..it's gone!..

Another thing I've been ticking and wanted to share with you is I think I've heard you saying more than twice that your bank app wouldn't work on your fabulous Note4 because if the root, modified, xposed and so on status..well I made my bank work on mine..I will help you adjust that issue if you want me too.

Oh, I eventually had to move "Rom tool Box pro" to a system app (priv-app) in order for it to work. Now they appear but remain unchecked apone boot.

Ohh and the version 6.0.6.5 was out of control with the fc..so had to change it to the 6.0.7.0 and this one seems more stable..I'm going to try it out again in private app in a moment.

In regards to your bank app..dl an older version of your bank that works, then clone it..and the only variation you are going to do inside the clone app is make it native side bar.
