Help Galaxy S2 HeadPhone Jack issues

I have Samsung Galaxy S2 with MIUI Rom.

I have this some unique issue which i tried looking up on net but am unable to find a solution.

I recently Purchased a Sennheiser MX 170 EarPhone.
When i normally connect this to my S2, the music still plays through the speaker of the phone.
But when i tilt it & put a pressure on it then it plays through the headPhone
& as soon as i remove the pressure it again plays through the speaker.

This happens with most of the headphones, only few earphones do play correctly on my phone.

I dont know if anyone else is facing this issue or not.
But please help me out.
Where the problem is.

The jack on the earphones isn't making full contact with the socket on the phone, either due to it being slightly too short or of a smaller diameter. When you tilt it, the contacts on both jack and socket line meet correctly and disable the external speaker.

So can you please tell me whats the solution ?

All you realistically can do is use those earphones which have a jack that fits correctly, unless you want to risk the effort and expense of trying to replace the socket.
