Galaxy S2 or Iphone 4s?

I came to a decision - Galaxy S2.

iPhone 4S is costlier.

Only advantage of iphone over S2 is Siri. The Vlingo, Iris etc won't work well like Siri

Vlingo is great but the only problem I had with it is that you you cant turn vlingo on when it isnt activated. you should be able to be in your home screen and say 'hey vlingo' and it turns on. now THATS hands free! also the other thing is it needs to be able to navigate through browsing and such. I mean you can say to vlingo, open google and search sea turtles or whatever but once you do that, your screwed. you have to manually search the internet. I think you should be able to say, 'scroll down' and 'click this page' commands. then 'read text to me'. etc etc

that would be amazing! completely hands free!

Hmmm siri as well need to long press the home button to activate i think. Vlingo can be started by double clicking the home button or tapping the upper microphone, also if i`m not mistaking.

Speaking as somone whos owned an iPhone4 for ages and has only just in the past few weeks swapped to a Samsung Galaxy S2 I would say...I don't know.
My biggest (maybe only) hassle with the Samsung however is the battery.l.
yep have heard this alot.

The most effective solution would be to get the official samsung bigger battery & cover. A lot of people say samsung should have shipped the s2 with this but it makes the handset slightly thicker & heavier. I think they wanted the super slim look which i admit does impress.

You also have to remember when you get a new phone your using and experimenting with it a lot more than usual. Some find when they return to normal usage levels the battery is ok .

Did i miss someone saying flash ? I like the full browsing experience, even
if it's flash ads :P It frustrates me how limited browsing is with an iPhone, a lot
of videos missings etc. So the world is now officially going to HTML 5 ? Don't
expect flash to dissappear over night, it will be around for years...and you
get it with Android :)

There is absolutley no comparing the galaxy s II to the galaxy ace. they are world's apart, your freind is undoubtidly an iphone fanboy.
I have a galaxy s II and a HTC desire HD, whilst one of my mates has the iphone 4s, my gs2 is a million miles apart, the screen look's more crisp and colourful, it feels better in the hand and a lot lighter, the battery life isn't great on either phone, but I'm in the habbit of charging my phone over night anyway's having used a desire hd for the past few month's. Siri is absolutley pointless and doesn't work properly here in the UK as the location services need's an update, so a pointless gimic, Get a galaxy s II and don't look back.
