Help Galaxy S2 sim card swap?

I bought my galaxy s2 outright, and have been using an optus prepaid card ever since. Today I took out my prepard sim and replaced it with a family member's sim card from their galaxy s2, which is on a telstra plan. After I swapped the sim cards, I could send messages and call etc with no problem under the sim card's plan, however I'm unable to access the internet via the 3g network the other galaxy s2 had with the sim card. Extreme newbie with phones in general, I apologize in advance, but can anyone help?

Data connections require the correct APN (Access Point Name) settings configured in Settings/Wireless & Networks/Mobile network settings. There are normally picked up automatically so first of all try restarting the handset with the new SIM card already in place. If the APNs are still blank after this, you can enter the details manually - the correct settings should be available from the carrier's web site.

Thanks heaps for your help! Probably should've tried restarting in the first place..anyway, problem solved and thank you again
