Help galaxy s2 slow user experience

Does anyone have to wait 3 or more seconds to go to the homescreen when you press the main button? Going from the stock j browser to the home screen takes on average 3 seconds. What's the hold up as I am sure it can't be the dual core lol.

Weird. It should not do that. Mine is instant. Only lag is when waking the phone due to the downclocking power saving feature of the device (downclocks to 200MHz to save power).
