Root Galaxy S3 Root User; Switching to LG Volt [VIRGIN MOBILE]

Just letting everyone know here that I should be receiving my LG Volt in a few days and I look forward to assisting in getting a recovery for this device. I am a current S3 user and I'm switching to the Volt for Sprint Spark compatibility, BSI camera, and various other reasons.

Here I thought I was the only one who said goodbye to the S3 in favor of the Volt! Loving it so far and glad I made the switch.

Thanks to the encouraging posts from everyone here, this has become my first rooted phone... I'm a long way from where most of you are, but looking forward to learning what I can!

I upgraded from the S2. The price and battery were well worth it! No regrets here either!

I went from my S3 to the Volt, not by choice, but it is definitely the most bang for your buck, the only con of this phone is the 1gb RAM. Depending on how you use your phone, that may not even be an issue for you. If you just use it as a communication device, you'll have zero issues. A lot of games, you might have issue with the 1gb of RAM

I upgraded from the LG Optimus F3 to the LG Volt.

My main reasons for upgrading is the quad core processor. Plus it has a bigger screen and runs on kitkat. Also it offers bigger internal storage then the F3.

When I was using my F3 I did have it rooted and used link2sd. My Volt is not rooted least for now.

Totally worth rooting doing a couple custom things to it and using link2sd.
