Just picked up my S3 (AT&T) yesterday. I am a longtime iPhone user, but I recently sold my 4S, then used a GNex (Play Store) for a month. The plan was to "mess around with Android while I waited for the iPhone 5." But... Jellybean had me so impressed that I have decided to stay... so I used my upgrade on a red Galaxy S3!

I just got mine yesterday after a 100 day fight with my carrier as they gave the phone to someone else and wouldnt give me another one.

I don't know what everyone else's experience has been, but the S3 is the first phone I've had that I have not yet had to pull the battery out to "unfreeze" it. Even my GNex had it's issues, even early on. Rooting solved most of them with my GNex, but perhaps that's why I haven't been in a huge hurry to root my S3 - I haven't really had any issues, other than an occasional force close from an app. It makes me happy and nervous all at the same time.
